A pernicious development is taking place in the backrooms of our Congress. FSM Contributing Editor Sher Zieve poses a startling question as to whether or not there is collusion between Bush and various representatives to pull off an end run around Americans on the immigration issue.
Part II: Senate Continues to Bypass We-The-People
By Sher Zieve
Still unconcerned with supporting the will of the American people, our globalist US Senators are again meeting behind closed doors in order to twist arms for the pro-illegals Amnesty Bill. Members of Congress and the President of the United States have apparently - made the conscious, irresponsible and incongruous decision toagaingo behind the backs of we-the-people in order to affect another end run around us.
Interestingly, virtually all recent poll responses from US citizens, regarding illegal immigration, show that over 50% of those polled want the border fence to be built and illegals entry into the US stopped. The poll numbers against illegal immigration are continuing to rise and do not appear to be political-party based. Of those queried in a recent Rasmussen poll, 69% said they favor an immigration plan that concentrates exclusively on securing the border and reducing illegal immigration. Only 20% of those surveyed said they wanted the Senate immigration bill to be passed.
Nevertheless, both the Senate and the Executive Branch of government are hell-bent on pushing it through before the 4th of July congressional recess. If there is any clearer evidence that our elected lawmakers have now decided to apply totalitarian practices against the directives and desires of the legal electorate, I would be interested to know what it is. Congress and our president have essentially declared war against the majority of the American people. Members of the Senate are also telling us that they (both Democrats and RINOs alike) know whats best for us - as well as whats best for their own self-absorbed political careers.
Note: I presume the reason for the Senates attempts to shove this amnesty bill down our throatsas quickly as possibleis so that their new voting bloc will be made legal before the next general elections. Unfortunately for them, the less-than-intelligent RINOs who will be running dont seem to be aware of the fact that the new voters will vote Democrat. And the Democrats who will be running dont seem to realize that the majority of their base doesnt want a blanket amnesty for illegals either. And, Congress and Mr. President: please dont continue to insult our intelligence by telling us this amnesty isnt really amnesty. Of course it is.
Of additional interest is that instead of paying any attention to the will of we the people, Congress is listening intently to racist organizations who want to annex the US Southwest for Mexico. The racist and reconquista organization La Raza (whose motto is: For the race everything, for those not of the racenothing!) was apparently not only allowed to have unfettered input into the Senate Amnesty Bill but, is also reported to have had veto power over it. RealClearPolitics reports that Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) gave La Raza the power of said veto, prior to many Senators having even seen the bill!
The Kennedy-McCain-Bush-Graham Illegal Alien Amnesty Bill has already failed twice. But, our globalist president and members of Congress have now told us that they will pass itwith or without the blessing of legal (native and naturalized) American citizens. Are our own elected officials now competing with Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez? Chavez has recently taken over Venezuelas oilfields, its broadcast stations, banksand he has even gone so far as to attempt to insinuate himself into the position of the head of that countrys church. If our elected leaders are allowed to get away with this illicit sham, the Chavez-way of government could be what we in the USA are looking toward in the very near future.
If you want to stop this open-borders-for-all-time plan of our president and both houses of Congress, it is mandatory that you contact your senators and congress people and tell them a polite but, resounding No! Do not vote for this amnesty bill! And we must do it now. We must warn our representatives that they wont again be elected to office if they vote for amnesty for illegalsand against the sovereignty of the United States of America.
This truly is a bill that has the potential to effect the decision as to whether or not we survive as an independent nation. If amnesty passeswe dont. Our leaders are already refusing to build the border fence that was approved and funded last year. I wonder where the money wentdont you?

The shamensty agreed upon by Senators from both parties should be more than enough proof the Republican party has abandoned Conservative principles by becoming socialistic and aligning itself with the Socialistic Democrats. They are essentially one party. Conservatives can restore the two party system and will only be represented when they leave the socialist Republican party by forming their own party.

Just keep overloading their phone lines, faxes and E-mail servers.
When they take a break, let them know face to face how you feel. But please: Do not loose it!! Do not start cussing or making threats. By keeping a cool head, while letting them know your opposition, you will make a much more lasting impression.
Remember, according to Lindsey Gramnesty and Trent CrapaLott, we are ignorant buffoons out here who cannot comprehend the intricacy of the problem.
Keep the heat on them, constantly. Call the national and your local RNC ever day if you can!!
Oh, one other thing: No donations to the RNC or to any poltician that supports this, or is keeping silent on this.

Is the time drawing near for a march on Washington (in the millions)? The goal would be to effectively shut down that city, and especially the Senate, to make it clear that America does not support amnesty.
Hundreds of thousands of people take off work for the pro-life march on Jan. 22 every year. Could not a much bigger swath of Americaincluding, say, anti-immigration Democratsbe mobilized for a March for America?

If this passes we will ALL be paying higher property, state and local taxes because of the impact of the illegals 'extended' families that will soon be pouring into our country. I think we also need to pressure our local leaders on ths issue.
Where are these poor, underpaid illegals going to get $5,000 apiece. What is the impact on our property taxes, state and local taxes which will have to be increased to deal with the increased populations due to the extended families they will be bringing in? What impact will they have on our overcrowded prisons and jails...6-7% of any population ends up in prison or jail. What is the impact on our already overburdened charity hospitals? We will need new schools to teach their kids, and more teachers, more cops, more prison guards........ NO one has said a word about these things.

Those of us in California have been screaming for years about the cost of illegals, we even passed a proposition 187 to end much of it which our Governor quietly trashed after one judge ruled against a portion of it. The state is broke illegals are costing the state over 10 billion per year, that’s about $1200 per household...And no the Senate doesn’t bother with costs, they don’t pay them we do. Heritage Foundation estimates cost of the bill at 2.5 trillion dollars.

Since only one-third of the senators are up for election each cycle, This time, those are the ones to write, and snail-mail is probably the only way to reach them. Their e-mail boxes are ignored and their phone-message boxes are full. They know how to ignore us!
The 'blog-o-sphere', whatever that is, will be well lit-up, and the call-in shows on radio are working well.
Those who would ignore 80% of 'We-the-People' do so at their own peril. ................. FRegards

This uprising by the usual quiet majority has never happened in my lifetime. It’s usually some small vocal special interest group. Frankly, the congress critters don’t know what to make of it....It’s never happened before.
I can’t express my profound disappointment in the President over this issue. I thought he would be the last one to ignore “We the People”. It appears I was wrong.
From a personal perspective the so called “straw” that broke the camels back was a couple of weeks ago when I had to take my wife to our local hospital emergency room. I sat there and watched hispanic after hispanic use the hospitals services for knife wounds and snotty nosed kids...and I was the only one who had to write a $150.00 check as our part of the co-pay....and I got to help pay for them as well.
As “Popeye” once said: I’s had enuf and I cants stands no more!!

I have a problem with this.
Every member of Congress is chosen in a free election. If Congress, in the aggregate, is really acting against the will of the people, the people have the power to replace them.
