GAZA, June 14 (Reuters) - Hamas said on Thursday it captured a major security compound belonging to the rival Fatah group in Gaza City after a battle with its defenders. A Fatah official denied the facility had fallen.The announcement that the headquarters of the Preventive Security service had been seized by Hamas fighters was broadcast on a Hamas radio station.
