Broward County commissioners may cancel a contract with radio station WIOD, which is the official source of emergency information, because it features the Rush Limbaugh show. Would you support this?

bump
The obvious and most equitable situation is that the station and the EIB Company quit paying taxes in that county.
I'm smack dab in Fort Lauderdale and we Depend on Rush greatly for COnservative standards and whistle-blowing on crookedness in the National Government.
That and my Dad listens to WIOD for local traffic and weather.

A new disease...LDS. Limbaugh Derangement Syndrome.
I’m always amazed at the “I don’t know” crowd.
I find myself in the "I don't care" crowd a lot of the time.
The thing is, it knocks Rush off the air when it happens. They hate him so much they can’t even think that far.
I know I listen to Rush on WIOD when I'm in Ft. Pierce or south of that area and today when he started speaking about it, I had to see a customer and missed his remarks. But, Schnitt comes on right after Rush and he was railing about the incompetence of the idiots in the Broward county government.
OK, I can meet you there from time to time. But it's not because I don't KNOW! LOL

Amazing, isn’t it, that when it really comes down to it Liberals are so afraid of free speech.
To be a lib you have to be totally illogical.
I seldom listen to him but I voted NO on principle.
BTTT
Just voted no. Now at 50.3 for no and 47.3 for yes. Rest are I don’t knows. Remind me not to move to that county. Looks like too many welfare queens.
The sole factor in determining which radio station should have the contract is brodcast coverage and power. Its a saftey issue if you go with less coverage.
WIOD is probably a powerhouse station.
Only and idiot would base emergency broadcasts on a show schedule.
