My brother's good friends have quads. They're amazing people, and the kids are wonderful. They're my heroes.
Prayers for this couple, for the health of their babies, and for strength for the challenges ahead.

I hope the babies all turn out as well as some others I know. However, I think after only 1 year of trying and the young age of the parents, they should not have turned to fertility drugs so soon.

I've been on several internet support groups for the past decade for infertility, and I've seen a few of these stories that went very bad--the worst was this woman who claimed to desperately want a child, took fertility drugs, which worked too well for her, as she became pregnant with 6 healthy fetuses. Cold-heartedly, she decided to kill (her actual words) 5 of them because she didn't want a 'litter', she'd only wanted one kid out of all the infertility treatment.
She miscarried. Went on to try again, got pg with 5 the next time!!! Incredibly, she decided to kill 4 of them (her words, "I told the doctor to kill those extra little brats!") and sure enough, she miscarried the remaining one.
The last time I read posts from her, she'd become pg with triplets, and was planning to kill 2 of them, and you guessed it, she miscarried the remaining one...went on to berate God for "punishing" because she couldn't keep a pregnancy...I think that's about the time I stopped praying for her, sadly, and started thanking God that she didn't have any children to pass these horrible anti-life attitudes on to, and I killfiled her. :*(
I guess the way she was going, the next time she would have twins and would kill one of them, to miscarry the other, and finally, would get pregnant with a singleton. *sigh*
I really hope she never killed any more unborn babies.

Forgot to add, God bless these people and their little ones, each life is a gift from Him! And who knows what the future holds, one of them may grow up to find a cure for cancer, or may be President of the USA someday!! :*)

So, God gives her 14 kids. She kills 11 of them, and the remaining three die. Wow.

I lift these little babies up in prayer... may God hold the hands of their parents, that they may feel His Love surrounding them.

Back in May, LA Times reporter Dan Neil revealed he and his wife decided to abort selectively two of their unborn quadruplets at 15 weeks on the similar advice of doctors. Neil said the procedure was a medical imperative and that they would have to lose two to keep two. He held his wifes hand as he watched the doctor inject potassium chloride into the heart of one son, and then the other. Excuse me while I go to throw up.

better yet it looks like 6 Conservatives have been brought into the world with blessing.

I have to say that I suspect that the woman you encountered on the fertility site was making up her story. It just sounds a little fishy, especially the language she used, e.g., “killing” the babies. At any rate, I hope she was lying.

I cannot believe that. I don’t want to believe it. How awful. What the heck is wrong with our world?

There was another set of sextuplets born today...in Arizona.

I agree. a dear friend waited 3 yrs. before her Dr. recommended fertility treatments. Before the treatments could began she was pregnant. I certainly hope for the best for the Morrison family.
