Was he doing one of his freeform, free association things where he plays a loop of music and just goes for it? To me you have to give credit to a guy who’s willing to take that kind of risk in front of a national audience. Savage is out there, and of course it’s fashionable to diss him, but I can’t help but like him.
Yes.. it was around christmas-time 2005 (or 2006) I think... it was so incoherent... looking back at it I wish i appreciated it at the time, I bet it was very funny.
