Michael Savage, the #3 most listened to talk-show host in America, was honored by Talkers Magazine, the "Bible" of talk radio, with this year's Freedom of peech Award.
Recently, Talkers held a bash at which they presented the award. C-SPAN, which claims to be nonpartisan and nonideological, was there and carried most of the speeches. But for some reason, it blacklisted Savage's speech accepting the award.
Why would a nonideological network do this? More liberal media bias, obviously. C-SPAN has now willingly made itself part of the liberal effort to suppress freedom of speech in this country.

I think you are close to the truth. I’ve seen that happen on CSPAN and that’s exactly what I thought when he was talking about it yesterday.
Since you clearly had your head in your behind, and must still be overcome by fumes, let me ask you: what kind of "liberal" supported the SwiftVets against Kerry (before anyone else no less), called for STRONGER action against Iraq, wants the ACLU bankrupted on RICO statutes, and calls the homosexual mafia the greatest threat to our children in schools? Find me a "liberal" who held similar positions, please. Otherwise, kindly STFU.

Yea, it’s not uncommon for CSPAN to run 2 or 3 speeches for an event like this. In fact, it’s not uncommon for them to skip an event like this entirely. If they aired 2 speeches from the Talkers convention, Talkers was lucky.
Savage wasn’t snubbed, most likely. I am a Savageaholic, but I call ‘em like I see ‘em.

I think it really ticks Dr. Savage off that more Americans are not vociferously outraged over the events he, and we, deems vitally important. He hopes to shock them out of their TV induced stupor. I doubt that it will work.

The problem is that they left out the main one. You don't cover two or three speeches and leave out the main speech unless you're trying to do it that way.
It's kind of like covering the music from a Broadway show -- all except the well-known songs.
I used to listen to Savage. Regularly.
