Why Did C-SPAN Blacklist Savage?

Michael Savage, the #3 most listened to talk-show host in America, was honored by Talkers Magazine, the "Bible" of talk radio, with this year's Freedom of peech Award.

Recently, Talkers held a bash at which they presented the award. C-SPAN, which claims to be nonpartisan and nonideological, was there and carried most of the speeches. But for some reason, it blacklisted Savage's speech accepting the award.

Why would a nonideological network do this? More liberal media bias, obviously. C-SPAN has now willingly made itself part of the liberal effort to suppress freedom of speech in this country.

Savage is popular because, agree with him or not (and I sometimes don’t), and despite his grandstanding, he is one of the most genuine, honest voices in radio today. With the others, Rush in particular, I have a feeling that one scotch-soaked cigar session with a power broker and he’ll be touting things that are bad for America simply because the power broker nudged Rush’s ribs and invited him over to his yacht for the weekend. Do you remember the Dubai ports deal? How we were all supposedly “hysterical”? We all know Rush admitted “carrying water”. Savage doesn’t do that. Love him or hate him, you can count on him really telling us what he really thinks.

That's your objection... he has that picture? Did you spend more than two seconds thinking about it? Did you ponder HOW that photograph was taken and WHY it is that he posted it? You're one of these people who want to hide the nature of the enemy we are fighting. You want to white-wash what happened to those soldiers.. YOU'RE THE ONE WHO IS OFFENSIVE.. Those soldier's souls are crying out for justice and if it was up to you no one would know about it. Unbelievable.

Let's not show people jumping out of the Twin Towers, let's not show images of the Holocaust. Let's not remind ourselves that there are evil people out there doing evil things. Instead we have to be sssseeennnssssiiitttiiiivvvveeee to peoples' feelings.

As Savage would say, we need more George Patton, not patent leather!

Savage sounded the alarm bells for borders, language and culture many years ago. Other talk-show hosts are only recently echoing the same sentiment.

Savage is on the front lines ,, he broadcasts out of SF CA for crying out loud ,, of course he saw what was happening before the east coast talkers did ... I love his show , he is not a parody of a conservative .. he’s the real thing .. A GENUINE AMERICAN ,, not a conservative , not a liberal ... just a cool old man with some great life experience who knows how to tell some good tales and always speaks the truth as he sees it ,, for the same reason I trust Glenn Becks reporting ,, he’s certainly more informative than Sean or the waterboy although the waterboy does get to the bottom line of political agendas the fastest and is never sidetracked by smoke and mirrors..

In fact- I think we should show MORE of those images.

However- I draw the line at our soldiers being used by the likes of Michael Savage to increase his audience. I do not believe for one MOMENT that his motives are to remind us of the nature of the enemy. You will not convince me otherwise, so tone it down. You’re posting to the mother of a combat soldier who knows plenty about the nature of the enemy. I don’t need lectures from you, thanks just the same.
