Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) "hates" George Bush (Vanity)

Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) "hates" George Bush (Vanity)

Yet another DUmmie actor speaks out. Yesterday's "Inside the Actor's Studio" featured Kyra Sedgwick, who, when asked "what sound do you hate the most?" responded "George Bush's voice." (Paraphrased from memory)

My wife is a big fan of "The Closer." I can tolerate it because it's important to Mrs. MarineBrat. I mentioned to Mrs. MarineBrat just how ignorant it is for an "actor" to inject political beliefs into a discussion about acting. When it becomes more important to get a dig in than it is to avoid insulting half of the audience... brilliant! Brilliant!!! Oh, wait, she's not really smart like the character that she plays... she just acts that way. I hope it comes back to haunt her bad! (Which is why I posted this vanity anyway) :)

It’s based on the true story of a man with cerebral palsy (William H. Macey)

What I find a mystery is that Felicity Hoffman, an extremely beautiful and sexy women is married to that guy! Wow! Do wonders ever cease.

Was??? They are still married 19 years! Quite a feat that Republican candidates can’t seem to do. That is one area that Democrats do beat us on is long marriages.

Uh, You came to that conclusion by comparing one Hollywood marriage to a couple of candidates in a handful of Republican Presidential possibilities and then extrapolating that to both political parties?

Sorry if I don't find that to be a convincing analysis.

Hunter, McCain and Romney have all been married longer than the Bacon's, btw.

Her “drawl” might as well be from Boston or Baltimore.

She's from New York City. Don't pin her on us, man.

nobody would have gotten away with that during WWII. At the very least they would have had a visit from the FBI. Disloyalty is not free speech.

Marg Hellenburger is her name. BTW, she is always doing USO shows and things like that. I don’t know her politics, but at least she does more than just use words to show that she “supports the troops”.

Not one Democratic Candidate has been divorced. That was my point.

After looking at her picture, I can see where Bill Clinton could be affected by her rather large mouth and lips. He!!, even Hillary may be interested also!!!

How long were the Baldwins married?
Alec Baldwin (19 August 1993 - February 2002) (divorced) 1 child
Ron Snyder (12 October 1980 - December 1988) (divorced)

Scratch them.

Hawn and Russell never married at all.
Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins haven't married yet either as far as I know.
Sean Penn - Robin Wright Penn (27 April 1996 - present) 2 children
Madonna (16 August 1985 - 10 January 1989) (divorced)

How about Angelina Joli and Billy Bob Thorton? Now her new 'partner', Brad Pitt. He and Jennifer Aniston didn't stay married long.

Duncan Hunter married the former Lynne Layh in 1973. Not sure if he is still married to her, but, if so, then that is one candidate that the dems didn't beat.

No, the dems aren't any better at long term marriages.

LOL I have often wondered the same thing! Then again she did that transgendered movie. ;)

I saw a couple minutes of that show once. She’s a dried-up ugly little bitch.

That doesn't mean there is a good marriage going on there. They might be afraid each other would sue one another for everything! Look at Kerry. Still married but at what expense. Same with the Clintons. Being too stubborn to out of a bad marriage is hardly an endorsement that they have longer marriages with the inferred 'better', due to length of time.

Have you noticed that Clint Eastwood seems to have moved more left than he used to be?

Kyra is married to uber liberal Kevin Bacon.

I'm not personally familiar with Bacon's ideology, but he's been described as being tight with Robbins and Sarandon. If he's anywhere near as far left as they are then he's certainly too extreme to be described as "liberal," ubber or otherwise. Leftist extremists are il-liberal (even if liberals themselves are too stupid to realize it).

Christopher Dodd is on his second marriage, although many don't consider him a top contender.

Divorced candidates only seem to be an issue with Republicans (Giuliani/Gingrich) - since there was nary a word about John "Gigolo" Kerry last election cycle from the rats.

Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Dennis Kucinich (twice) and Dennis Kucinich have all been divorced.

I used to enjoy the Closer but it’s now off my watch list. Piss on her.

Off ours as well. Same with America Fererro (sp?) after she sounded off. And there are others. I'm amazed that these performers, whose livelihood depends on people liking them, persist in alienating half of their pontential audience. Are they that stupid?

Yes they are.

I can't stand her mouth. I refuse to see anything she's in on account of that.
Yep. I'm a bigot.
