Don’t be defeatist! Without the grassroots energetic opposition to this crappy bill, it would have been passed already. The people *did* make a difference, and the Senators have acknowledged that. Notice also that 10 Democrats peeled off to the ‘no’ side on cloture. Even the Dms arent willing to cross the people on this. Graham getting booed, Chambliss and Alexander and Bennett getting ‘shocked’ by the public reaction in townhalls and at campaign events. Senators noting he flood of communication, 98% of it against the bill. The “bargainers” came in May 20th with a ‘grand compromise” and within 2 weeks, it was in shreds.

We won the battle, now the jury is out on if we will win the war. They will try to pick up the pieces and do it behind closed doors. Our job is to tell them to give it up, and to tell the opponents of this to get vocal about opposition.

Veteran Hollywood Actress Jane Russell declared herself a "mean-spirited, narrow-minded, right-wing Christian bigot" to a crowd of conservative activists on Saturday.

The retired actress was making the point that she is tired of Christian conservatives being labeled intolerant when they stand up for their beliefs.

Russell's comments received enthusiastic applause at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Arlington, Va.

The 81-year-old Russell, who spoke on a panel called "Hollywood Needs Adult Supervision," explained that her son chides her for using the term 'bigot,' but she insists on doing so.

"My son said, 'Mother you can't say the word bigot because that has to do with nationalities and things.' I said, 'No darling, it's a verb. It means I can't stand these people who are trying to take the Ten Commandments off the wall, take prayer out of school and... take prayer out of football games.' It's too ridiculous," Russell said.

"The Lord put this country together or we wouldn't be like we are," she added.

Basically, the Left is going to label conservatives politically incorrect, and with they are also labeled "racist-sexist-selfish-exploiting-imperialists". "Bigot" and "racist" are not badges of honor but there is no shame in receiving flak from liberals when you stand on principle.

Good point, Rush. I was suspicious of Feinstein’s over the top drama to begin with. At this point, most of the pols and media are flat-out lying and name-calling. To her, anyone is a racist who opposes her stand.

99% of the ordinary Americans I’ve met involved with this issue, over the last five years, are highly intelligent and do not lie. And I think that if they/we can muster up a letter or phone call, we will not waste it with racist language. Sure, there will always be that other percent.

Feinstein: It’s actually racist to be purposely trying to out-breed Americans and mow us down. It’s almost a type of ethnic cleansing the La Raza types are smirkingly conducting. But what do you care? You have your mansion(s) and servants - what would you know about the impacts of the invasion?

STAGE TWO is to go after the people who hire illegals. Start giving them fines and arresting them. Just catch ten or 100 of them on the nightly news. The magnet will dry up and most of the 12 million will go home by themselves.

As an addendum, we should anonymously call the IRS, people working "off the books" means taxes ain't being paid. Make anonymous fliers and hang them around the neighborhood, name names. It's time to embarrass these bustards, whether they give to the GOP or Rats, we don't need them.
