ebola?
Hope everything comes out allright.
Remember to flush...
I used to see TB cases all the time that wouldn't listen and continued to work in the food service and child care industries. Even back in the 70's, it was very, very difficult to get the courts to order custodial quarantine. (medical incarceration) In the case of resistant TB, with treatment, the sputum smears become negative quickly and the patient is safe to be released from inpatient.
Short answer is "No."
It must have been the British cuisine.........
“What a conicidence! I am reading this in a bathroom stall at the AA Admirals club in Miami. No Joke”
You might consider staying in there. Hope it’s a good connection.
Wash your hands.
I think they were fighting over some cheese...
Some of Mark Levin’s free government cheese, no less.
Don’t know if this is a reality, but it seems like in this day and age, planes would/should carry surgical masks for the passengers in case a person on board is found to be contagious with a serious disease, while the plane is inflight.
I know in our doctor’s office there is now a sign requesting anyone who’s coughing or may be contagious to ask the front desk for a mask to wear in the waiting room.
My husband had DVT last summer after a roadtrip; the clot broke up and dispersed throughout his heart and lungs. The only symptom he had was waking up one morning coughing up blood. Since this was an international flight, it’s likely that she could have a pulmonary embolism.
In other words, might be nothing to see here — move along, move along.
Maybe it’s just a case of pneumonia.
Um... if so, they’re already infected. They’re trying to keep whatever it is from spreading beyond the plane.
.
Entirely WAY, WAY too much information.
I think the CDC should come clean as to how he got the TB.
Authorities Detain Sick Passenger At MIA
POSTED: 2:42 pm EDT June 11, 2007
UPDATED: 3:22 pm EDT June 11, 2007MIAMI -- A sick woman who traveled on a British Airways flight Monday from London to Miami was not contagious, health officials said.
The 45-year-old woman was believed to have a gastrointestinal illness and was being taken to a hospital, said Von Roebuck, a spokesman the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
"They ruled out infectious disease," Roebuck said, but he did not elaborate.
Miami International Airport spokesman Marc Henderson said the other passengers on flight 207 were let off the plane. Miami police and fire-rescue authorities responded to the airport, along with CDC officials, who saw the woman before she was taken to the hospital.
British Airways spokesman John Lampl said he did not have details of the woman's illness.
The British Airways plane, flight 207, came from Heathrow airport in London. Airport officials said 337 people were on board the plane, including the flight crew.
Could be an advanced case of coccidioidomycosis.
