MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Forty-one Manchester middle school students were taken to Planned Parenthood as part of a field trip.
On Wednesday, students in the STAY program, created for at-risk children, took a tour of nonprofit agencies.
STAY, in collaboration with the Greater Manchester YMCA, took the students on the trip.

Read the last couple paragraphs and note there is a poll where you can vote whether or not you agreed with the field trip to PP. So far, more people have disagreed by around a 10% margin.

It is important for children to see the toilet where all their brothers and sisters were flushed down the toilet.

There is one field trip that I wouldn't be signing a permission slip for. I'm guessing that 41 parents did sign though.
No way - no how. My child would have been kept home that day.

"It is inappropriate for a school program to be bringing middle school children to Planned Parenthood," said Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta. What more can be said?

What next? A trip to a gay bathhouse to observe hygiene?

"YMCA said it was the first time they took the students to Planned Parenthood and that abortion was never discussed."They took these kids to a place where babies are slaughtered daily for a tidy profit and there was no mention of that?
What did they tell the kids was done there? Health care?

I hope this incident isn’t typical of the entire organization.

I would like to know how specific the permission slip was that those 41 parents signed. Did it say “tour of non-profit organizations in our community”? Or did it specifically mention Planned Parenthood? Whoever set up this field trip was either terminally stupid, or had a definite agenda....(I think we know which)

Very good point zgirl! The permission slip may have been purposfully vague(sp?).

One could have a very fine time reminding the children that it is very forutnate that there parents didn’t visit there before they were born...or the number of abortions that have been performed...or the frequency of return visits..
It is supposed to be an “educational trip” after all isn’t it?

Yeah, and the article mentioned there were anti-abortion protestors right outside the abortion mill. And they say abortion never came up?

“and over here, we have an ‘oprating room’ where young girls who have been raped by older men can keep the rapist safe by getting rid of the nasty evidence- some call a child- so he can do it again!— isn’t the RIGHT TO PRIVACY a GREAT THING?”

They next need to show the kids an ultrasound of a 16 week old fetus/child.
I’ll bet $20 they don’t.

It would seem to me that an actual journalist would investigate that angle of the story and report on it.

Several protesters were outside the Planned Parenthood when the students arrived. They were yelling and trying to give the students anti-abortion literature.yeah, NEWS MEDIA, try to make it look like the ANTI-ABORTION protesters are the ones at fault here.

And no. I wasn't being sarcastic.
