Muslims would NEVER be allowed to act too muslim over there like in India or west.

Some of my chinese friends tell me that sometime during mid-90s when muslims in Ningxia and Xinjiang provinces were slaughtered wholescale (in hundreds) and several of their mullahs and suspected militant leaders were publicly executed by PLA. The army conducted operations with full scale artillery and even tanks. News of this is entirely hidden from rest of the world.

Just look at the language they speak over there:

Chinese Muslims forge isolated path

By Louisa Lim

BBC, Ningxia

Against a desert backdrop, surrounded by parched yellow-earth hills, an army of worshippers sing devotional chants as they march through a compound to the central mosque. Ningxia province is the heartland of Islam in China - and the base of Hong Yang, a Muslim leader who commands a million Chinese followers.

Islam with Chinese characteristics, in Ningxia province Religious freedom is laid down in the Chinese constitution, but Hong Yang admits there are limits.

"It depends on how you interpret the word freedom. Our religious freedom cannot compare with other countries. We're only free to practice within the boundaries set by Chinese law and policy," he said.

"But we don't want to overstep those limits, as that might create conflict and instability for the whole society."

Spreading the faith is a duty for Muslims, but for the 20 million Muslims in China, it is only allowed within the confines of a mosque.

I wonder how many of this billion is muslim.

Ask and thou shalt receive: this source has this to offer:
Islam spread from the West throughout South Asia, from the early eighth century, to become the largest minority religion in India. In fact, with 101.5 million Muslims (12.1 percent of the population), India has at least the fourth largest Muslim population in the world (after Indonesia with 174.3 million, Pakistan with 124 million, and Bangladesh with 103 million; some analysts put the number of Indian Muslims even higher - 128 million in 1994, which would give India the second largest Muslim population in the world).

I agree.

One thing is for sure, if we don’t kill them they will gladly kill us.

Take your pick.

So much for Ron Paul blaming American foreign policy for Al Qaeda’s terrorism

Allow me to reply for the Ron Paul supporters:

1) He didn't say that, even if you did hear him say that.

2) He didn't mean that, and has explained it. Again and again.

3) He has read the constitution and you haven't.

4) You're a Rudy-bot.

Did I get all their talking points?

Thats uncalled for. You might find quite a few uncivilized Americans if you recall all those school shootings and instances of teachers raping their students.

Further, India is not just Hindu and Muslim, but home to millions of Christians. 30-50 million according to some estimates. And since 70% of christians in the country are actually converts from Dalits (untouchable caste), majority of Christians are poor as well.

Further, Muslims have a much better deal in India than in China or West. They have such benefits that are unimaginable in the west. For instance:

1. Indian govt gives up to 50% subsidy to any muslim who wants to go to Mecca for the Haj.

2. Traffic stops every day in public roads whenever muslims want to pray during afternoon.

3. Muslims are being given affirmative action up to 10% in most Indian states.

Compared to India, UK is way conservative in its appeasement of muslims. Recently, an Indian cabinet minister even put a fatwa on the head of the Danish cartoonist over the Mohammad cartoons issue and the Hindu head of his party supported him in doing so !

Won’t never happen. The main stream media, the Democrat Party, and Al Queda are all allies in the quest to destroy the United States.

For the most part, the people of the United States do not care about this. They are only interested in what is happening on American Idol and what is going on with Paris Hilton.

They have bought into the bullshit that it is only the “radical muslims” that are the trouble and by the time they realize that they were sold a bill of goods it will be too late.

I think its much closer to 200 million already.

If they ever reach 30%, India could as well be declared a muslim country. Right now, we are a quota-based democratic anarchy.

That means bad news not just for Hindus, but Christians as well.

Al Qeda made another huge mistake here. I’m glad to have India and the US on the same side on yet another issue.

I agree. India can be a powerful ally, poised to become a major world power and although our cultures seem miles apart, we both face the challenge of trying to preserve freedoms while battling Islamic fascists in a multicultural society.

Just as we err in thinking of our al Qeda as merely savages thereby underestimating our enemies, so THEY err by underestimating THEIR enemies.

The Taliban is simply trying to merge forces w/ the hard core Islamists that have been in Pakistan since partition (actually, for over 1000 years).

The Taliban’s declaration of war on India is just another set of problems for the Pakistani government, which must keep peace with India as part of their alliance w/ the USA.

Al Qaeda has been at war with the civilized world for almost two decades.

The fact that they have to put out a cheap publicity video to “declare war” on India shows they are being severely damaged by the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is a cheesy attempt at looking strong.

“How quick on the nuke trigger do you figure the Indians to be?”

Not overly quick. The Indians are much too smart to be careless.
Besides, the prevailing winds blow from Pakistan toward India.
The Indians could easily bear the brunt of the fallout from their own weapons.

I think you’re wrong. I hope you’re wrong. I pray that you’re wrong and that most Americans (as seen right after 9/11) are patriotic, concerned and can be very actively engaged when stirred.

The trouble is, as you say, it’s all quickly forgotten. Boredom sets in. Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness and then, oh yeah! What’s Homer Simpson up to?

We’re all in deep caca.

"Yes, Ron Paul was a moron then who demonstrated just about a total ignorance of Article 2 of the US Constitution then and he is still an idiot today"

What? That Bush is "Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces"? And? You seem to be totally ignorant of The War Powers Clause. which requires the president to obtain either a declaration of war or a resolution authorizing the use of force from Congress within 60 days of initiating hostilities. Clinton led NATO -- whose charter was defensive, not offensive -- to bomb Yugosalvia for 78 straight days with no declaration of war. Paul was 100% right on this. Only Congress can declare war. The US isn't a fascist state -- yet!

"You mean the Ronald Reagan...(who)spent record deficits"

And Bush hasn't? What planet are you living on? And tax cuts or no tax cuts, sooner or later you and I are going to have to pay for it!

In any case, I was referring to Reagan's success with the ultimate destruction of the Soviet Union -- a win that Clinton and both Bushes have squandered.

"Only the Dinocons are so stupid they not only have no clue about history, but some how have manged to fool themselves into thinking their hysteric emotion based dogmas are based on fact instead of just their blind political bigotry and ignorance."

Really? You have no clue about "the history" of what we got involved in Yugoslavia --otherwise you would know that we bombed a people who was our ally through two World Wars, in favor of those who just tried to bomb us at Fort Dix! And Bush is actually demanding international support for a scenario against Serbia that would be the precise equivalent of supporting an "Aztlan" on our territory! If we don't want that on our shores, why should we demand the equivalent on someone else's?

Your own "ignorance" is only exceeded by your simplistic arrogance. Amazing!

I think Al Quaeda should declare holy war on the WNBA. They wear shorts, they expose their limbs, they play terrible basketball and many of them are, well, you know, sexually speaking.

Al Queida has also declared war against Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other less extreme Islamic terrorist groups. They also hate the Iranian government.
