This is a wonderful thread! It is an island of sanity so missing right now. Thanks for all the fine photos!
It's disgraceful that others choose to bash and trash our leaders instead of praying for them. The ones that bash the the president on a prayer thread are the lowest of the low.
It grieves me so and greatly worries me. The hatred is palpable. Where there is not outright hatred, there is apathy. "I don't care anymore". The enemy is pleased. Apathy he can work with quite well.
I am not not always in agreement with President Bush, but I love him as a brother-in-Christ and respect him for his character and leadership in such trying times. I know that his heart is in the right place and that he truly seeks God's wisdom. I will continue to pray for him and this country the Lord has blessed me with--His perfect Will be done.

Amen to that. There seems to many people that feel if a person does not agree with them 100 per cent they are the enemy.
Thank you for that post of sanity

That is beautifully said and I think it reflects what most of us here believe as well.
Thank you for posting it.

I am so thankful he is our President. He is a giant among midgets when he meets other leaders. Leadership is not a popularity test and he doesn’t worry about who likes his decisions.

Amen and amen! So well said. My feelings exactly. So many people don't see that you can still respect and love someone even if you don't agree with him or her 100 percent. And so many people are somehow blind to the fact that our president is deserving of respect and love in so many ways.

lol ... I’m glad they finally got away from Putin. He gives me the creeps..........
Me too, especially when I found out Pres. Bush was sick. My first thought was “Did Putin sit next to President Bush while they were eating?” I was scared he poisoned his food. : /

Are you enjoying your summer so far? Yes, it's been busy. I've gone on 3 interviews so far, and have many more to go. :( That part I don't like. The school I interviewed with yesterday seemed like an ideal place to teach, I'm hoping they will call back or the school that I'm interviewing with on Tues. will.
Other than that, most days we go to the Y pool or to some other activity. And I've been staying away from the website. Sorry I posted and ran last night. How have you been?

Already developed into a Bush bash thread -....
Isn’t it sad that a prayer thread would turn out like that?So frustrating.
