To celebrate the (temporary?) demise of shamnesty, here’s open-borders shill Juan Williams tearing a page from the Bush/Chavez/Chertoff songbook and serenading Mark Steyn with a little quasi-racial demagoguery. He should have at least followed out his own logic, taken it the whole nine yards, and accused him of being a “self-hating immigrant.”

I would like to see an immigration reform bill, but that segment was disgraceful. Besides calling an immigrant anti-immigant, they used the classic tactic of asking Steyn what policy he would prefer and then interupting him as he tried to suggest what should be done.
You should know that Jorge puts the whore in Jorge.
That is not all this bill or this debate is about. It is part of the problem, but not the entire problem. You may differentiate between Mexican illegal immigration and illegal immigration from other places, like Europe or Asia, but others may not.

Yes, but the tenor of Juan William’s argument is that anyone who doesn’t like this bill’s approach hates immigrants. That’s erroneous. Why take it seriously? Why worry yourself about somebody else’s wrong opinion of you?

You still however missed the point Juan was trying to make. Stopping those who cross the border illegally WOULD NOT have kept the 9-11 terrorist OUT.
