Weenie Prime Minister or not, I think the Israeli military can still do a fair bit of fighting. Syria might start it, but the Israelis will finish it, just like they did in 1967 and in 1973.

There's nothing original about Islam. Mohammed simply glommed on to ideas from several different belief structures, twisted them to suit his purposes, then claimed he received them from the mouth of God.

I doubt that it'll be quick this time. With Prime Minister Olmert in charge, the IDF will be indecisive. Syrian forces will be smart to split up and fight in the countryside in a guerilla war.
