Actually, I'm not sure that's accurate. I could be wrong of course. Seems like I read here on FR this morning that he didn't vote for impeachment for perjury, but did for Obstruction of Justice.

He DID vote for impeachment. He did not vote for removal from office.

He was in the Senate, where a vote to convict is a vote for removal from office. Thompson voted to convict on Obstruction of Justice, but not Perjury.
