Oh spare us that BS.
Fred is as of today, not a candidate.
So why should he be there?

Yes, Congressman Hunter is clearly the best candidate in the race, and I think that he would have been the best choice in several other election years also Agree.
Watching Thompson on CNN now...To be honest, I am not real impressed with Thompson.

Hunter got in the body blow he needed to. Expose the frauds!

Bump for Tom Tancredo! Yep, he's got it right about assimilation. Too, many illegals are not even trying to become Americans.

Hunter hit a home run plus his answers were facts, no spin.
He could speak about his Marine son on his third tour in the war while Romney sits with his 5 sons who never served.

It’s gotta be hard for all of the 10 candidates. McCain seemed to get the most air time. Mitt did just fine. I just don’t understand why Hannity is letting Fred T go on and on and on - it’s making me sick. Fred T should have been on that stage answering the hard questions. I’m proud of Mitt and all the candidates who put themselves out there for us to pick apart. Fred T is getting a free ride.

On the most important issue of our life time and that will effect many generations to come, the war on islamic terrorism, Ron Paul is a defeatist who is on the left of many left wing lunatics who want to surrender to the terrorists. This guy should not be in the debate, he is a huge embarrassment. Isn't Bush the defeatist for attacking Iraq and not, say, Iran or Syria or North Korea? They are known and proven state sponsors of terrorism. Iraq's connection was tangential at best. I seem to remember a "Bush Doctrine" being announced after Afghanistan but before Iraq.
If the goal is to defeat terrorism, why aren't we going after the states that sponsor it? We've only strengthened Iran thus far (removing their prime adversary).

But hes not a danger to the conservative movement
Exactly. The GOP, if anything, should be moving closer to him.

Before I say ANYTHING else I want to go on record as to how abundantly clear it is that anyone on that stage tonight is leaps and bounds better than anyone who stood there night before last!

“The election is more than a year-and-a-half away... Holding ANY debate this early in the cycle is kind of ridiculous, IMHO. (I understand that about the primaries and still think its too early for this). The average American is tired of politics by the time the election rolls around already.”
Of course it’s early, it’s early for ALL of the candidates. If Fred plans to run, he should not be exempt from debating. Is he avoiding announcing he’ll run until the debates are over, or what? Pretty lame.

The candidate I support, Tommy Thompson, agrees that the majority of the candidates are too liberal. He calls himself “The reliable conservative.”
