The Democrats still blink. Debate moderator Wolf Blitzer asked Dennis Kucinich if he would try to knock off Osama bin Laden with a missile even if it would kill some innocent civilians.
Kucinich said, "I don't think that a president of the United States who believes in peace and who wants to create peace in the world is going to be using assassination as a tool."
The rest of the Democrats crawled into a hole of vacillation.

I thought ‘assassinations’ were for heads of state and other dignitaries. Osama is a mass murderer.
immoral of our opponents to use civilians as human shields, immoral of them to compel us to have no choice but to inflict human casualties.
When the enemy understand that the US's actions cannot be dissuaded by the risk of killing innocent civilians, the enemy will cease to attempt to prevent the US from acting by using innocent civilians.
In the last 3 decades, it’s been a hard sell to make America first in the eyes of the rats and since ‘94 when the Clintons went national, it’s been almost a crime to think of America first and not the party.
Here was a chance to buttress their patriotic allegiance to the county and not the party and they actually took it. They all raised their hand when asked if they’d kill Bin Laden even if they had to take out a few innocents doing it answering the question as posed.
But to a cool aid drinker, blind to patriotism, schooled on liberalism, overcome by pacifism, it’s just unfathomable to put the countries priorities over party.
Also, the incumbant putrid swarmy pols answering the question know full well the difference between party and Country, and proved it by their answer. Which means they are well aware of how they are purposefully dividing the nation to a point of revolt in their quest for control of it.
So the question falls back to the writer as he mocks the faux patriotism of win at all cost politicians: What lesson was learned by the answers?
Answer: They’re all full of crap.
You’ve nailed them.
They had no problem killing children at Waco simply because the siege had gone on long enough.
They had no problem with a machine gun raid on a private home to snatch Elian Gonzalez.
Not to mention all the people who wound up dead under strange circumstances around them. Notice the same has not happened around Bush.
For them the party and supreme leaders are above all laws and must be preserved at any and all costs.
How many “innocent” civilians surround Bin Laden?
Stupid democrats.
Every last one of the many columns I've forced myself to read by Jackson over the years (because I wish to remain informed about what is going on inside the mostly empty heads of liberals) is an exercise in self-flagellation. You'd think that one time Jackson would write about some positive development. There MUST! be something about life in the United States that Mister Derrick Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Jackson likes.

A whiny, sniveling little man like that should never be allowed anywhere near a position of authority.
Any man who is tasked with making decisions that will influence the lives and potentially deaths of his fellow countrymen MUST have an adequate and clear moral hierarchy.
He must recognize what society he is a part of. He also must acknowledge the duty he has towards his family, friends, neighbors and his fellow countrymen.
Your own people must come first; any other option is simply suicidalism. That is not racist, it is not a sign of psychopathy or fascist tendencies, it is simply your moral duty to your loved ones and your fellow Americans.
It is even more important for an American president to understand this, as first and foremost the American President is just that: an American.
However, it seems as if the democrats will do anything possible to convice the world that they aren’t ‘ugly Americans’ like the rest of us. Convincing their people and the rest of the world that they aren’t Americans seems to be a good enough goal for most of ‘em.
