Given the Senate is threatening to give away the farm this week, I decided I had to do something. Sure I could call my Senators (Jim Webb and John Warner [choke, gag]) on the phone and harp. I could stand outside the Whitehouse, RNC HQ, or the Capitol - alone or with just a few from the DC Chapter and picket. Or, I could create something that a large number of people might be interested in putting to good use. Even those who might otherwise not bother with corresponding with their legislators. So I scanned one of the many RNC solicitations I've recieved in the mail so I could dress it up and make it say what I'm really thinking. Not one of their bogus canned responses. But that's not all. Make it so you can edit it. What you see below is a sample letter I created. Try creating your own. You'll be able to edit the TO:, FROM:, SALUTATION, MESSAGE, and the QUOTE coming out of President Bush's mouth. You'll see "El Presidente Jorge Bush" highlighted. Type in something else. Press the <TAB> key to move to next field or just press your mouse button over the various fields. Once you're satisfied print it off along with the self addressed envelope. STOP THE IMMIGRATION REFORM BILL! Let them know: Amnesty = no money! |
Thanks!
Thanks!

This just rocks!
Thanks!
That’s for sure.

Didn’t I argue with you over whom to vote for in 2000 once? I supported Bush, but you didn’t because he was too accommodating to homosexuals or some such?
I didn’t want Cheney because of his gay daughter, he had her starting to go and campaign
I didnt want Bush because he never said anything bad about Clinton, nor did anything since to convict that criminal and her husband
I wanted Alan!
Thanks for making this letter, Buford. I’ll work on mine tonight!
Thank you! Everyone needs to let the RNC know their money will dry up if they don’t straighten up!
That is truly brilliant!
Thank you.
Thanks! Ping your friends.
I’m about to flush my morning contribution to the Republican Party. I hope that Senator Martinez is standing on the other end of the pipe with the catcher’s mitt.
“I wanted Alan!”
I did too.
The Bush Family are nice people, but out of touch with what government should do.
They are the elite class who do us a great favor by “serving” us. They are as magnanimous and dignified as possible, the Bushes don’t have a racist bone in their bodies and have gone well out of their way to show both personally and professionally. What credit have they been given from their enemies? None. They are continually called racists whenever the left needs to play that card. The Bush family will not have their good name sullied by anything that may cast any doubt on their humanity, even if the policy isn’t good for America as a whole.
In the current political climate, do you think you will ever see immigration laws favoring (hold on to your hats now, shudder-—WHITE-AAAGGGH people) instead of every other country.
I want everyone who wants to come here to have a chance, just follow OUR rules like my ancestors did, my great aunt and uncle had to wait an additional 10 years because they said she had an erratic heartbeat and could have been a medical liability, and he was a holocaust survivor number tatooed on his arm and all, did they get special treatment, NO.
Come one come all, come as fast as we can absorb you, in line, speaking english, with a sponsor and no rights to the taxpayers money for a certain amount of time.
Very cute, but I believe the humor will be lost on them. However, you’ve inspired me to send in a donation in my return envelope...in Pesos! (I have some left over from a trip taken a few years ago.)
The form is editable. You can make it say whatever you want. Put it to the best possible use as you see fit. Don’t just settle for my boiler-plate example.
I think an envelope filed with pesos will speak volumes. ;)
