They do have a point. Whitey Sandy Burgler walks with no jail time. But that's only because he works for the first Black President.

People want to know: “If Jefferson should step down, which corrupt Democrat will take his place?”

They didn't want this to happen during the midterms, and they certainly can't have this floating around in the runnup to '08, so.... Kinda my point--DOJ is run by which political party? It should have already been done. So why now? Does anyone really believe this would have any legs if they wait until 08? I sure don't. Nothing the Dems do has legs.

Well played. This is obviously racism. These dirty white republicans are going after this corrupt guy with indictments because he took a measly $100,000 bribe, a victimless crime. But Sandy Burglar stole national top secret documents to hide information about the 9/11 attacks during an ongoing investigation, thereby putting all American’s at risk of life and attack.
The Burglar is white, no indictment or jail time. Jefferson is black, throw the book at him!.
Proof of racism!!!!!

Look for lots of bones to be thrown our way before November 2008. Sort of like the border fence bone that no one ever was serious about.
Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice......
This should have been done a long time ago.

Maybe things are changing for the better....first Paris Hilton, now Jefferson.
The only thing which would make this better is a Soros indictment.....he was indicted in France after all.

"IIRC the FBI found out about the cash after Hurricane Katrina when he had the National Guard put their rescue activities on hold to go get his freezer with the cash."IIRC, the cash was in the freezer of his home near Washington, D.C., not at his residence in LA. He did get the NG to make accomodations to get his to his house in LA, but that was probably because of another stash.

Kongressional Klique Kaucus......will protect him........And why not? Doesn't the very nature of their name imply that the color of their skin is first and foremost what you should be judged by rather than the content of their character. (Good thing in WJ's case, since the content of his character is seriously criminal)

Kinda my point--DOJ is run by which political party? It should have already been done. So why now? Point taken. But I'm certainly not discounting a bunch of 'pubbies/Rinos being in on the foot-dragging. Same as letting Sandy Burglar off with a slap on the wrist.
