Well at least they have an honest, decent governor to appoint a replacement.

Only until a special election is called, if one is needed at all. Governors don't appoint Representatives.

I meant just for the interim but I was mainly expressing disdain for their governor.

The demos are famous for spreading taxpayers’ cash. Of course some of it has to be held by them to cover their expenses. ha ha

Typical rat will claim innocence until proven guilty and maintain his job. This could drag out long enough for the next Democrat president (because the GOP has been wedged apart by immigration reform) to pardon him.

Question: Why do all allegations and indictments against Republicans happen just BEFORE an election, while allegations and indictments against Democrats happen safely AFTER elections?

Moot question, of course.

Can’t you just hear madam la klinton saying, “It’s the fault of the ‘dam’ left wing conspiracy.”

Don’t hold your hand on your tush waiting for her to scream the above.

Question: Why do all allegations and indictments against Republicans happen just BEFORE an election, while allegations and indictments against Democrats happen safely AFTER elections?

Because Republicans fear that Democrat Ju Jitsu will turn the action against them, also before the election, to the point where Democrats convince the voters that it's the Republicans' fault. How many times have we heard Democrats cry that the "timing is suspicious" when one of them is charged?

So, in effect, Democrats are safe because the Republicans' own fear is used against them, to the point where Republicans don't do anything at all.

I seriously remember a tank or hummer—probably Rush or Sean talking about them driving up to the front porch and Jefferson stepping off onto the porch because the flooding was that high—hard to get that visual out of my mind. :-)

Virgil complains and he is severely tortured.

For several days he is locked inside a sweatbox

with an insurance salesman.

Indicted?! I want to see him convicted. And no... Nancy isn’t going to ask him to resign. That’s a privilege reserved for Tom Delay and Republicans don’t ya know?

So is the federal prosecutor one who replaced one of the seven who were fired?

I think refusal to prosecute some of these cases is clearly why the Bush administration fired them.

I had to laugh when Tucker was listing the companies that were bribing him or that he was shaking down for money. On the list were Nigerian telecommunications companies. Hahahahahaha...
