Operation Border Jumpers Is Underway
America Talks ^ | June 3, 2007 | David Zublick

The Republican Party is in full self destruct mode, thanks to George W. Bush and his amnesty plan for illegal immigrants. Two days after Bush slammed his critics over what he referred to as their lack of patriotism for failing to support his program to put lawbreakers on a fast track to citizenship, the Republican National Committee reportedly fired all 65 of its telephone solicitors because donors are furious about the amnesty plan.

The Democrats of course, led by Teddy Kennedy are all for the plan, as it would create an even bigger base of constituents for them and their entitlement programs. But many Republicans are also signing off on the plan, which has many conservatives mad as hell.

This immigration reform plan addresses neither the core issues of border security, nor the problem of 30 million illegals who most of the citizenry wants to see deported, not rewarded for breaking our laws to get into this country.

A recent poll indicated a mere 26 percent support Bush's plan. Yet this thing is being fast-tracked. The politicians are planning on shoving it down our throats whether we want it or not.

It's time to send a message to Washington.

Back in the 1980s, when congress was threatening to give themselves a huge 50 percent pay increase, several local radio talk show hosts across the country banded together to urge their listeners to send tea bags to Washington with a note attached that read "Read my teabag...no 50 percent pay raise!"

It worked. The halls of congress were flooded with teabags and the pay raise was stopped. You must remember that this was before the Internet, and before the prominence of nationally syndicated radio talks show hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. This was true networking...and it sent the message loud and clear.

With the blogosphere and Internet radio making a huge impact on society, a message just as loud and just as clear can and should be sent again.

Introducing Operation Border Jumpers. And it works like this.

Go to your nearest novelty store and purchase some Mexican Jumping Beans. Put them in an envelope, along with a note that reads "No amnesty for illegals!" and send it to your U.S. Senator and Representative.

If the halls of congress are once again inundated with messages from their constituents, they may relent and stop this insane idea to let the flood of illegals continue. And make no mistake about it. That's exactly what this bill will do.

Those illegals won't necessarily have any incentive to turn themselves in, as many don't want citizenship. And with the Z visas, family members of illegals will also be allowed to enter the country, suck up our benefits such as Social Security which is already nearly bankrupt, and commit heinous crimes such as rape and robbery.

No...it's time to round up all illegals and deport them. It's time to shut down the borders. It's time to give the U.S. Border Patrol the authority it needs to keep our country safe. And that means letting them shoot to kill any illegal attempting to cross our borders. Also, the National Guard should be allowed to fire their weapons as well, instead of just being eyes and ears for the Border Guards.

There are many who continue to argue that it would be impossible to round up and deport the 12 to 30 million illegals in this country. However, I believe it can be done. It would cost an estimated 250 billion dollars and take five years to accomplish. But it could be done if the American people had the backbone to do it.

But before we can address this, we must stop Bush's plan cold. And the only way to do this is to let the Senate and House feel your wrath.

So let's do it. Go to your local novelty store and buy those Mexican Jumping Beans. Or order them over the Internet. Send them with a note that reads "No amnesty for illegals!"

Let them know that border "jumping" illegals will not be tolerated and neither will Bush's amnesty.

Let's make Operation Border Jumpers a huge success.

On this one, Bush is clearly on the side of the country club GOP; you know, the guys that own businesses and want cheap labor.

That’s what this is about.

I think we need to get a button campaign started
too! Can you image millions of conservatives wearing a
button which in no uncertain terms describes their
outrage over this CRAPOLLA!

No way! Go after the employers and the illegals will leave on their own. Just go after the easy ones i.e. schools, emergency rooms, orchards etc.

These are the consituents of George Bush and his quislings in Congress:

"Though no one wants to reward illegal behavior, we must find a way for these workers to come forward, make good on the past and participate in a program that leads to permanent residency and eventual citizenship."

“Mexican flag flies at U.S. post office
Old Glory stamped on in protest by backers of illegal immigration

Backers of illegal immigration at a rally near Los Angeles took down an American flag at a U.S. post office, stamped on it and replaced it with a Mexican flag as police looked on, according to witnesses and a video of the event.

Police officers in Maywood, Calif., Saturday eventually came to the pole to remove the flag but had bottles and rocks thrown at them, a radio listener named Sandra reported to the Terry Anderson show, heard on KRLA in Los Angeles.

A video can be viewed here, and photographs can be seen here on the website of Save our State, a border-security group represented there along with the Minutemen to protest Maywood declaring itself a “sanctuary city” for illegal aliens.

The radio listener, volunteering for Save our State, said that when she arrived at the rally she was rushed by counter-protesters who called out, “Death to the Minutemen.”

“They pushed me around and told me if I was to take one step further, they would beat the s*** out of me,” Sandra said. “I looked to the back of me and there were about four police officers leaning on their vehicle just watching, doing nothing!”

As she stepped forward, Sandra said, the counter-protesters stole her sign and ripped it up as another threw water on her.

A police officer eventually escorted her to her group.

The opposition, she said, began to get louder, and then “we watched as they took the American flag off of the flag pole and stepped on it on the ground at the United States post office and mounted a Mexican flag, and up it went.”

At this point , she said, “the police did nothing.”

“Finally, they went over to take it down, and they had bottles and rocks thrown at them,” she said. “They did not attempt to arrest anyone. They were unable to take it down because they cut the wrong line so the flag remained there for the rest of the day.”

Sandra said that as police officers watched, another woman was beaten, as well as an elderly man, noting the counter-protesters “tend to pick on the weaker targets.”

“I believe that all Americans need to know about this and need to see that Mexican flag hanging at an American post office,” she wrote to Anderson. “We are being invaded and the American people need to wake up!”

Blogger Bridget Johnson, who also was at the event, said that along with Maywood’s flouting of immigration law, as a “sanctuary city,” it has disbanded its police department’s traffic unit so illegals without driver’s licenses won’t be fearful of getting their cars towed.

Referring to the supporters of open borders, she called it an “afternoon chock full of racism, ‘reconquista’ and riot cops, which included a sign claiming North America is a ‘stolen continent.’”

Johnson said that “after the local post office took down the American flag at closing time, pro-immigration demonstrators promptly ran the Mexican flag up the flagpole. Eventually, police officers surrounded the flagpole and tried to get the Mexican flag down, but the cords got twisted and they could only lower it to half-staff.”

In March, a high school in Southern California punished a student for involvement in a protest in which a Mexican flag was flown above an upside-down U.S. flag.

The incident took place at Montebello High School in Montebello, Calif., when students walked out of classes at area schools in protest of a proposed federal immigration bill.

In April, a Tucson, Ariz., man was arrested after he burned a Mexican flag while demonstrating against the flow of illegal aliens into the United States over the southern border.

Thousands of supporters of illegal aliens gathered in April to protest events in over 60 cities nationwide, but most left home the Mexican flag, because of the controversy it had stirred in previous events.

In what was being called a “campaign for immigrants’ dignity,” demonstrators instead carried the U.S. flag, a noticeable change from previous rallies in opposition to immigration-reform legislation pending in Congress.”

Hmm, does this Dave Zublick own any stock in Mexican Jumping Bean suppliers?

What is the current price on Mexican Jumping Beans?

Is there some relative of Dave’s with a warehouse full of Mexican Jumping Beans?

I’m getting crafty, kid.

I can’t think of another country that does not control its borders and carefully scrutinize each applicant for entry and/or citizenship. (lack of visa requirements within the EU notwithstanding)

This would make a good election issue, and be a good opportunity to weed out the traitors in BOTH parties.

That’s probably why they want to fast track it, it’s too unifying an issue to have on the ballot.

That is a small part. What it is really about is the planned North American Union of which is supposed to be announced in Sept. of this year. You know, no borders, free flow of travel, etc. And then there is the Law of the Sea treaty controlled by the UN

Buttons work. Around 1980 when Fob James (Repub) was elected governor of AL, he came stomping in with a plan to slash employees and pay rates for AL employees, of which I was one. He did this from day one without even studying the situation.

State employees wore big buttons that said simply “We’ve Been Fobbed”. Ultimately, he hired an outside agency to assess jobs and pay rates which ended up giving me a $1200 per annum raise. Some jobs were rated downward; many were rated up. Fob slowed down and started trying to cut govt. expenditures in
a more sensible and organized way.

Our AL Senators and most of our Reps are against this amnesty bill.

How about a box of Jell-O with a request to grow a spine?

Not just the guys with labor intensive businesses, but also the rich guys who clip coupons. They want body servants and lawn boys. Some of them want upstairs maids and downstairs maids.

A large percentage of them clearly want to have a lot of servants around so they can feel like "Ol'massa in the big house".

Two groups of people America doesn't want ~ people willing to be slaves, and slavers.

Go down to the novelity store and buy a skeletion with a spine and send that to them along with an annotated copy of the Consitution suggesting that they follow it as they swore to or that they resign now.

The tea bag thing was back in the days when Congress actually got mail. I don’t think the mail think would be too effective anymore. Torches and pitchforks on Capitol Hill would probably work much better. ;)
