I am shocked at the two GA Senators and disappointed. One reason I was sad when Sen Allen lost is that he always stood with Inofe and Coburn versus some of the ones that are part of “YES” chorus of Republicans without spines in the Senate.
I have called both of my GA Senator’s about this amnesty bill and told them if they cast a vote for it, take my name of their donor list..I would choke before voting for a democrap but right now I don’t see much difference in them.
Simply put, why should American citizens believe anything Washington’s liars say?
The National Intelligence Reform Act included a requirement to add 10,000 border patrol agents in the five years beginning with 2006. To date, only 210 of the 4000 officers mandated have been added, minus those incarcerated for doing their jobs, those who’ve died while performing their duties, or those whose years of service is rewarded by retirement.
The legislation was predicated upon a lie to the American people, as the Bush Administration had full intentions of seeing the funding for training would be cut and/or eliminated.
The Secure Fence Act of 2006 was based upon a requirement that 700 miles of fencing be placed upon our Southwest border, yet to date, only about two miles have actually been built.
Again, the legislation was predicated upon lies to the American people, again because funding appropriations were glaringly absent.
So, now Americans are to suddenly believe there’s been an epiphany in Washington? that suddenly there’s a determined will to enforce our new laws, right after we excuse those who trampled our borders? Sorry, we’ve “been there, done that” and it didn’t work then either.
If the world searched within the United States for full faith and credit to be found within the resolve of elected Legislators to honor their duty to country, America should be the laughing stock of the world and the butt of all jokes except maybe those including the French. But then, the French have recently begun an about face on porous borders, something Washington still fails to grasp...

Thank you so much! Hope they listen.
It would be a travesty to debate the 1,000 page bill but put this one in the trash can.
Laws are passed but not enforced and that is why all of us as citizens have the obligation to keep writing, calling, and harassing them when they return to their district/State so they know we are tired of their non action. Why pass something if you are not going to enforce it?
When you call an office, tell them you will make no donation to their campaign until you see them standing up for enforcement. Enough people do that and they will wake up.
I stopped my monthly to RNC, NRCC, and NRSC and will only give direct to candidates in the future and told all three organizations why!
Awesome — perfect place for that 1,000 page document.
All the pundits are talking today about ‘their’ immigration solutions. I hope you will join me in contacting them to let them know about Inhofes ENFORCE act.
Pretty good bill. I would toughen it up by putting those who employ illegals in prison, by cuttig off all Federal dollars to “sanctuary” cities (which are breaking the law, after all), by tripling the number of agents both of the Border Patrol and of ICE, and by prohibiting the prosecution of Border Patrol or ICE agents for doing their jobs.
Politics being the art of the possible . . . has anyone taken a head count on this proposed legislation by Sen. Inhofe to determine it’s likelihood of passage?
BUMP!
