My understanding about the current bill is that it will give automatic right to stay for all who are already here, illegally, plus allow/encourage them to bring in anyone even closely related to them.
I wonder how many would be left in some third world countries?
No way am I for this bill.
There is no need to pass a bill to enforce the borders and laws on the books. NONE-
When they tell you that this bill is about enforcement first, it is a lie. When they tell us that there are “triggers” that need to be met- this is just a shadow language.
the very first line of the Bill is:
(a) With the exception of the probationary benefits conferred by Section 601 (h), the provisions of Subtitle C of Title IV, and the admission of aliens under Section 101 (a) (15) (H) (ii), as amended by Title IV,
(i) the programs established by Title IV of this act; and
(ii) the programs established by Title IV of this act that grant legal status to individual who is unlawfully present in the United States to that of an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence,
shall become effective on the date that the Secretary submits a written certification to the President and the Congress that the following border security and other measures are funded, in place, and in operation:

Now read that. This means that ALL unlawfully here are automatically LAWFUL RESIDENTS! Not after the security measures are in place- IMMIDIATELY!
another good source for the “slice” of what is wrong with this bill:
