If it pins this administration down so it cannot do any more damage to the country, that would be a good thing.

I am fed up with Bush and his giveaways.

Henry Waxman couldn’t find his @ss with both hands even if you helped him.

I'm pretty sure he needs no help picking his nose.

I just hope we don’t have to dry clean the stain off the dress.

Bleach works better. Nine out ten criminalists agree.

One of the strange things about Bush is he very rarely defended himself against attacks.

I don’t disagree with you. Gonzalez is a lousy Attorney General, another instance of Bush choosing an unqualified person just because he is a personal friend, but now we are stuck with him until the end of Bush’s presidency, because there’s no way the Democrats will let Bush appoint a decent replacement. And that was how Watergate got started, with the Dems forcing out the AG and replacing him with one of their own.

Bush’s amnesty and his behavior toward the base is frankly dreadful, but he is President until his term is up, so our only choice is to try to pressure him and everyone in congress not to pass the damned thing.

In the meantime, we still have to support him against these partisan attacks, and try to hold things together as well as we can.

Actually, both wouldn’t hurt. Dry clean to get rid of the stain and bleach to make sure any remaining trace is too degraded to analyze.

Mr Bharara is spearheading the Democrat campaign to uncover corruption, mismanagement, incompetence and financial impropriety at the heart of the Bush administration.

There were lots of folks like Bharara decades ago. Back then they called them, "muckrakers".

The administration probably wouldn’t fight even after being “pinned downed”.

LOL, Bush brought this on himself. Old "Mr. Nice Guy" deserves exactly what he gets for playing footsie with the scumbags for the past six years instead of ruthlessly burying them.

"Many conservatives burrowed within the Department of Justice have long complained that Gonzales has permitted career government employees and hold-overs from Democratic Administrations to remain in perches of power and thereby water down conservative directives from the top. As one conservative and Federalist Society member in the Justice Department told me: “This is definitely not Ronald Reagan’s Justice Department, I assure you. You have holdovers from Clinton calling the shots in a lot of places here.” "

I’m a bit concerned what will happen to all of the BDS sufferers once President Bush returns to private life at the end of his term.

Yep. Bush has always rolled over for the rats like a scalded puppy dog.
No fight at all.

I know the libs portray conservatives as the only corrupt people in the political world.

You have to hand it to them though, they really do know how to go after a target!

It just goes to show that being the nice one and not wanting to throw muck around just doesn't make it in the realm of politics.

You know, the nice guy finishes last, and all that stuff.

The dems are actually doing what they said they would do when the lost the election in 2000.
