Did anyone from the RNC come out and talk to you? Did they hide in their office? This is pretty much the response we got from the folks in the RNC building:
I hope they recognize that they are treading on very thin ice right now, and if they don't get reconnected with the will of the voters, the 2006 elections will look mild in comparison to what will happen to them in '08.

We were a small group, but that's OK because it was a press conference. Here's a nice shot of (Mrs.) Trooprally, doing sign-holding duty:

It really is a sad day for the Bush Admin and the RNC that folks like Kristinn and Doc Raoul, who have been tireless of their support of the troops and the Iraq War, are compelled by Bushs stance on shamnesty to freep the RNC. Indeed, it is.
DC Chapter member, Albion Wilde, got stuck in horrible traffic on her way in to the Freep, but she finally made it, with her great signs:

I know you guys were burning up the phone lines, because when I got home I tried to make some calls (Lott, McConnell, RNC) and kept getting busy signals all over.
Great work by everyone today! We have to keep the heat on these critters all this week; they have got to hear from everyone that we will not accept their turning their backs on the rule of law, border security, national security....
Keep calling!!!

That is my favorite too. That Kevin is one handsome dude. I bet he could put the fear of God into an adversary. I heard him on Laura Ingraham show and he was very passionate and dead on right.

Yes, amazing job. I didn’t hear Laura’s interview (?) with them, but I did read her recent column and thought she made some great points.
