D.C. Chapter to Freep RNC HQ Re:Amnesty Bill 9:30 a.m. Monday 6/4/07 (Pics at Post 293)

The D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com invites all FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join us this Monday morning as we freep the Republican party over their leadership's support of the amnesty bill and their failure to support securing our borders first.

We will also be announcing the results of the FR poll on support for the GOP if the amnesty bill passes into law.

When: 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2007

Where: Republican National Committee headquarters, 310 First St., SE, Washington, D.C.

Bring: American flags and signs calling for border security first and no amnesty for illegal aliens. D.C. Chapter made signs will be available for use.

As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect. We reserve the right to refuse participation by anyone who refuses to abide by these rules.

We printed up the “gringo” pesos onto business cards and passed them out (had DC Chapter and Free Republic contact info on back). Thanks for the great idea. More photos in awhile...

Good job. And the sign with the cero Peso that Dr. Raoul is carrying is great! Good way to get the message across.

Takoma - I’m glad you referenced Trteamer’s post about the post hole digger and fence. His post was like a subliminal message, I couldn’t figure out where the idea came from, I just did it. It must be that I am a member of the Half Century Club.

It really is a sad day for the Bush Admin and the RNC that folks like Kristinn and Doc Raoul, who have been tireless of their support of the troops and the Iraq War, are compelled by Bush’s stance on shamnesty to freep the RNC.

We live in a target-rich environment here in DC; although it's a very sad day when we have to protest our own party for abandoning its conservative principles.

Here's another... The Trooprallys just got a beg letter from the RNC, so Mr. T wrote a message on the envelope and brought it with him to deliver back to the RNC today:
