No, I have no interest or desire to even be near such materials, I am merely asking from a Freedom lovers, point of view. I think people deserve jail for what they do, not simply what they think.
Yes, it is funny that Mr. ACLU is off to the Big House.
Downloading child porn and viewing it is an action, and if done intentionally, it violates the law. He would no more be arrested for what he thinks than you or I are for the terrible thoughts we sometimes have. I often have had revenge fantasies about people that have done me wrong. That is not a crime against society (it is against God). But I would be arrested if I bought a gun and filed off the serial number in preperation for the revenge. As far as it being a victimless crime, he is the demand side of the business, and the children in the pornography are the victims.
Just Mr. Kervorkian, he probably figured that the laws did not apply to a flaming liberal. Maybe like Mr. Kervorkian, he will get out and decide that behaving civil is better than jail.
Charles Rust-Tierney, 51, admitted that he accessed more than 850 pornographic images of children as young as 4, including a six-minute video depicting the sexual torture of children set to a song by the band Nine Inch Nails. Authorities said Rust-Tierney used a computer in his 10-year-old son’s bedroom to view the files...
“So these were actual children under the age of 12 engaged in sexual activity?” Judge T.S. Ellis asked.
“I’m agreeing to that, yes, your honor,” Rust-Tierney said.
“Well, is it true or not?” Ellis asked.
“Yes, it is,” Rust-Tierney replied.

I'm a little confused.
Are you saying the violent child pornography images that former ACLU President (VA chapter) Charles Rust-Tierney viewed were pure fantasy?
Or are you asking a peripheral question unrelated to the particulars this case?
I guess I'm confused because you keep bringing up the "fantasy" question.
We are on a very slippery slope when simply looking at illegal activity will get you serious jail time.
As far as we know, this guy didn't touch a kid, molest a kid, take a picture of a kid. He did nothing illegal except look at and pay for vile, disgusting, sick material
Bear in mind, this POS ACLU scumbag needs help if he gets his jollies by watching adults sexual abusing a 4 year old.
He needs to be institutionalized
In other countries possessing a Bible will get you jail time, I'm not making a moral equivalence between an Islamic tyrannical regimen and a sick pervert, but there is a law of unintended consequences
I don't know.......but it can get you elected to senator in the state of Virginia.
