Th excellent news keeps on coming, even the liberal media has difficult times hiding it, although they will keep trying.

It would be even better if the Shia would turn on the al Mahdi army. But the eradication of al Qaeda in Iraq will deal a blow to them that will resound with serious implications throughout the Moslem world. That’s why al Qaeda fights so hard, and it’s why the Democrats don’t want Bush to succeed. Success for the Iraqis would be failure for the Democrats.

You have to be careful though...

Just because there may be a Sunni uprising against Al-Qaeda doesn’t mean they become our friends. After they kick Al-Qaeda out of our region they’ll do whatever it takes to kick us out including killing our soldiers there.

I agree with you jv.

There is still going to be tremendous pressure put on the forces and the administration by many folks who think we measure sucess by how many American are killed or wounded. Why there is also pressure by many on this db who don't seem to understand why we are making ceasefire peace deals with and why.

I just wish more people would follow Bill's comments and updates at billroggio.com or the comments at Iraqthemodel.blogspot.com
