"Yeh but how many of those are jobs that Americans wouldn't do???"You may not be able to escape the truth, but first you must put forth the effort to find it.
The report is on non-farm payrolls. As summer comes, service sector and construction jobs increase.

Okay, Ill start......How come every illegal alien can come here and find a job when a welfare queen cannot?.....(There, two subjects at once!)....... Here is Houston the unemployment rate is 3.8% but for some odd reason the Katrina "evacuees" cannot find work. Unemployment is still a problem for Katrina evacuees in Houston yet there are 59,000 jobs in Houston that only require a high school diploma.

The only bad news is that the Federal Reserve won’t like this news and bond yields are going through the roof.

No matter how good the economy is it does not seem to effect Bush’s favorable poll numbers, nor the public’s low perception of the strength of the economy.

I totally agree, I think its a very moderate stance on Global Warming. Much too moderate for the vast majority of Enviroweenies, who are complaining today that its not nearly enough, yadda, yadda.
This whole notion that Conservativism HAS TO be Anti-GW is, frankly, stupid.

An exaltation of larks,
A murder of crows,
A pride of lions,
What to call a crowd of good old boys?
An uncouth of youths?
A board of bubbas?
A hey-baby of harassers?
Hmmm....

As soon as they are citizens they will join the welfare queen because she gets more for sitting on her butt than they do working

When the government GUESSES at the number of job creation they include in that number the jobs illegal aliens are doing.
This is the time of the year when seasonal employment begins, farming, construction, painting , carnival etc in the Northern part of the country.
Employment should go up.. if it did not it would be a real blow.

"Quick hide this great news, the Bush Bashers on FR are coming to destroy you and they are going to turn this good news into illegal immigration thread and attack the President."
Hilary's gonna fix all this in a couple of years.

Ooops. Let’s back up a bit. I grew up in Texas where ‘a crowd of good old boys’ does not equate to soldiers. I had to reread your post to see where you were coming from.
My bad.

Do I get some kind of brownie point for unintentional diversity? No, but you should get credit for hiring the minority - the caucasian.

“No, but you should get credit for hiring the minority - the caucasian.”
I left myself wide open for that one.
My point of unintentional diversity was I hired all three of these people solely on their qualifications. Turns out the two minorities are foremen in training. The Caucasian is lowest on the pay scale.
