AMERICA UNDER SIEGE: The Crippling Consequences of Illegal Immigration
AmericanChronicle.com ^ | May 30, 2006 | Randy L. Harrington

Posted on 05/31/2007 10:40:14 PM PDT by Exton1

President Bush is sending 6,000 National Guardsmen to the US-Mexico Border, as America struggles with the question of immigration enforcement and reform. There are 12 million illegal aliens in the United States as of March 2006. Eighty-five percent of all illegal aliens are from Mexico. Illegal aliens who commit criminal offenses are costing the American taxpayer billions of dollars a year. Illegal aliens are 50% more likely to take advantage of public benefits at a high cost to American taxpayers. The high cost of providing specialized education to the children of illegal aliens has become prohibitive for the taxpayer. And some facts remain constant: illegal aliens, who are often referred to by proponents of illegal immigration as “law abiding”, and “hard working” once they get here, are not “law abiding” or “hard working” once they arrive in the United States; no matter how the immigration laws are reformed, illegal aliens will continue to cross our borders because they are not the law abiding sort in the first place. The numerous amendments to the U.S. Immigration law since 1965 have proven this fact.

INTERVIEWS

On one of the first hot days in May 2006 in Chandler, Arizona they stand on the street corner, in the parking lots, and often in the streets. A police car parked across the street seems to not notice, or doesn’t care about what is going on around him as he reads his newspaper, and takes sips from his water bottle.

Illegal aliens, day laborers, or undocumented aliens. Whatever one may call them at any time – they are criminals, one and all. They have crossed the U.S. border illegally, they are now seeking employment in the U.S. illegally. They are blatantly breaking our laws, they are criminal aliens, and not just illegal aliens. Violating the very principles of our immigration laws while a Chandler Policeman sworn to support and defend the United States Constitution, and law casually sits in his car, and does nothing. It’s business as usual in Chandler, Arizona.

Francisco Rivera

Francisco is 26. He entered the U.S. illegally for the 20th time on April 15, 2006. The last of the 19 times that he was deported the U.S. gave him a free airplane trip to Mexico City. That was on January 3, 2006.

“It’s nothing. They keep sending me back, and I always return. I don’t care what U.S. law says, I am Mexican and am protected by Mexican law. Besides they don’t put you in jail if they catch you, they just send you back for a little while.”

Francisco has lived in California, Texas, Nevada, Virginia, and now Arizona. He has been arrested eight times. In 2003, in Tucson, rape charges were dropped against him when his victim, who was also an illegal alien, returned to Mexico, and was not available to testify.

“American’s need to understand that in Mexico it is o.k. to take sex when a woman dresses or acts like she wants it.”

Francisco says that he is currently having sex with a 12 year old girl, and a 14 year old girl. “Age does not matter, as long as the desire is there” Francisco said.

Francisco runs to catch a National Van Lines truck that has stopped to pick-up some day laborers, as that Chandler Policeman watches with apathy. Francisco drives off for a day of work.

Wonder why health care costs are through the roof. Here’s why. A family member is married to a mexican gal. Nice gal... she has brought.... illegally... many members of her family to this country. What galled me was when she brought her 90 year old father up to visit. The minute he got here she took him to the hospital. They ran all kinds of tests on him and kept him in the hospital for one week. Couldn’t find anything wrong so they released him. He then goes back to home to Mexico. She brought him specifically to put him in the hospital. Didn’t think twice about who pays. Guess who paid the bill for this one... the city of San Diego. You sign some papers... that’s it. Free, free, free. Now you, legal American citizen, try and get that.

Yeah. Keep letting that illegal trash in. This is just one of many of this garbage invading America.

WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!

Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti illegal immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them. This is a bipartisan issue not a Conservative or Liberal issue BUT AN AMERICAN issue.

STOP AMNESTY NOW!! WE CAN DO IT!!

The best way to stop Shamnesty

Sounds like Francisco Rivera is most likely a figment of a xenophobic mind.

And the government in Washington continues to be in self denial. Congress and the President are helpless. Why?

The fact of the matter is that Bush and the rest of the elites in DC want to merge the USA with Mexico and canada in to what they call the "North American Union." This will be like the European Union with subsequent loss of of US sovereignty.

Buzz words don't help us to understand and deal with what is really going on. In our lifetime(And I'm 58) the USA will cease to function as a country.

President Bush says this bill will make the need for a border fence less likely. Well, sure, legalize every illegal and there's no problem of illegality anymore. That solves the problem, if you define the problem as "undocumented" aliens. Voila, documents.

Deported 19 times: This shows what's going to happen for the next 20 or 40 million who come in. Nothing. Thank you President Bush, Senator Kennedy and all the elites like Linda Chavez. Let's put these people in your neighborhood and tax you to pay for them.

Why has no one asked the Dem Presidential candidates, where they stand?

To el presidente, "no borders, no problem"--

But I'm not calling for his impeachment--

No, I'm not--

Cue the McClintock quote.

I am doing it, via NumbersUSA and emails to Senators of both parties. Bush should also be bombarded with mail and calls for his dissing of the BASE. He has finally lost me on this one. Other stances have been fine but this one has made me glad he is going back to Texas.

Again, I think we should militarize the borders. No to a borders wall. Deport the illegals we can find WITHOUT affecting American civil liberties.

I know just what you mean. I too have a daughter and I hate to let her go out ANYWHERE because that disgusting garbabe lives in packs in a trailer park a few miles down the road and they are everywhere around our decent nieghborhoods now. There are like seven to ten of them to a trailer people say. Before they moved into it it was a community of trailers that had to be kept up. Grass mowed, clean manicured yards, etc. The owner sold it to a slum lord and now it is full of filth. Beer bottles all over and garbage thrown down in yards, overgrown yards. All of the original people have moved out because of the way those degenerates live. Sad....and sickening to see this happen and people in authority turn a blind eye to it.

"This will be like the European Union with subsequent loss of of US sovereignty."

The arguments about this that I've heard have always seemed to me to be unconvincing exaggerations.

There is a huge jump from trade pacts and even the more extreme common currency to a loss sovereignty.

Yeah, I know it seems far fetched. But that's the way they got the EU. Why else do you think that a "conservative" Republican would be for amnesty for all these Mexicans?
