There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens. "Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

I have tried for the last 3 days to call KBH’s office in Dallas. Seems they have the phone off the hook, can’t get through. When it comes down to it I fear she will go to the dark side.

Get the fax numbers off her “Contact” page and let’em rip. I sent her several faxes with articles and polls. I also emailed her office. Her response was that she was against the bill, after all the negative feedback she was getting.

For what it’s worth, I also sent her office staff the link to several FR threads and told her staff to take a look at what the Republicans here think about amnesty.

I have sent emails but I really wonder how much they help, seems to be more effective if you can talk to a person. I called John Cornyn's office and left a message which if nothing else they have a voice and a name.

All the mail from RNC has been going in the trash here for over two years. They don’t get it - don’t understand that the Republican Party has become too liberal.

Take a minute and use their pre-paid postage to let them know exactly why they're getting none of your money. I never throw away an envelope addressed to the RNC. I give them a piece of my mind on their dime.

Calls are coming in 100 to 1 AGAINST THIS STUPID SENATE BILL. Somehow, that got out. If they ignore the majority, is it a dictatorship yet?
Is there any need for the "if"? These ppl are firmly in the pockets of the businesses that are evidently compensating for the loss of voters' donations. For sure we can and will vote them out, but what about the damage done before we get to vote the weasels out? By then it's mere revenge, not amelioration of the permanent harm done to our country.

One way or the other, someone's getting personally wealthy under the table - gotta be to so willfully ignore the electorate's protest to this shear folly.

Bush will invite Al Gore to the white House to begin working on global warning...I worked very hard to elect conservatives in GA-remember we had Max Cleland for a bit. However, honestly I am not complaining really. I don’t see the point of wasting my time when Repubs behave exactly like Dems once elected.
