Accuses KS Governor of protecting Tiller
New York City, NY - May 31, 2007 - Fox News host Bill O'Reilly rebounded from a six-month silence to issue a scathing segment on the notorious late-term abortionist George R. Tiller that aired the evening of May 30. During the segment, O'Reilly blasted Tiller for "executing fetuses" for "vague medical reasons."
He was equally critical of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who vetoed a bill that would have required Tiller to provide specific medical reasons for abortions after 21 weeks of pregnancy.
"Incredibly, Gov. Sebelius is protecting Tiller," O'Reilly said during his broadcast. "And Gov. Sebelius is allowing him to continue the slaughter. How the governor sleeps at night is beyond me."
O'Reilly produced a document showing that Tiller has a lengthy history of campaign contributions to Sebelius going back to 1994.
O'Reilly's guest was Rep. Ben Hodge, who resigned a committee post in protest of the lack of action by Speaker Melvin Neufeld to bring Tiller to justice.
When asked by O'Reilly if this was a disgrace upon everyone who lives in Kansas, Rep. Hodge responded, "Yes, I think it is. I think at times in American history there will be times when branches of government fail the people and I think this is one of those times."
"O'Reilly's remarks underscore what our own research and work has revealed about the web of corruption that surrounds and protects Tiller," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, who worked behind the scenes with Kansas legislators in an attempt to bring Tiller to justice.
"Because women come from every state to abort late-term babies at Tiller's Wichita abortion mill, this is a national problem. We pray that the national exposure O'Reilly brings to this scandal will force the people of Kansas to begin taking meaningful action to clean up governmental corruption and bring Tiller to a court where he can be held accountable under the law as soon as possible," said Newman.
Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus
Bill O’Raza will change his tune when his sponsors tell him to.
I tried to find a transcript earlier, but currently the video of the segment is available at his website instead:

Definitely worth watching.
Tiller isn’t going anywhere until Kansas elects a new Gov. and
AG. Tiller owns them.
you would think kansas of all places wouldnt elect garbage like this.
O’Reilly makes me nuts sometimes — I can’t watch him for very long — but I give him credit for hammering away at some vital issues, including this one. He seems to have a particular desire to protect the weak and vulnerable, and that’s a plus in my eyes.
Gov. Kathleen Seblius isn't happy about Iraq, but she has no problem accepting monies from Tiller... and has done so since 1994!
Please FReepmail me if you would like to be added to, or removed from, the Pro-Life/Pro-Baby ping list...
Go, Bill, go!
sweet!
sweet!
Yeah you’re right. Last night’s show was a good one, and I don’t always agree with the guy.
O’Reilly is like a possessed man when it comes to protecting the innocent and the defenseless. And he becomes The Avenging Angel when he goes after child molesters and baby murderers.
I asked a good friend who lives in the N.W. corner of Kansas in a teenie weenie little town about that same thing and its because the big liberal cities control the voting block, just like here in Michigan.
Indeed, Bill O’Reilly is one of the very few major news figures to criticize the abortion of children.
I’m not a fan, but I agree completely.

We are liking Bill O more than we used to. He is really a little pit bull when it comes to the issues he cares about and I’m hoping that he keeps his chompers on that leg until somebody screams. We are outside of Wichita a few miles and yes, it’s a scandal and an embarrassment what goes on down here, especially since Sebelius calls herself a Catholic. What a joke. But we were really laughing because O’Reilly didn’t pronounce her name right and kept saying SEBELUS, instead of Sebelius
(Seh-bee-lee-us) She’s probably real pissed about that more than anything
I am originally from Kansas and I cannot understand who down there put this itch into office.
