I was young when Comrade Carter was Premier... I mean President.

I DO remember double digit unemployment, huge utility bills, double digit inflation, a very large interest rate on my parent’s house, violence the world over, and growing our own food to offset the high cost of everything.

I was 7 when he was booted, but I remember what he did and learned more through research. Carter is delusional and pathetic.

I remember in sixth grade wondering why the greatest, most powerful country in the world couldn’t kill a rag-tag band of amateur terrorists and get those hostages out of the embassy in Tehran. The whole experience left me disillusioned about America’s greatness. Jimmy Carter will hold his place in the bowels of history.

Don't forget the gas lines around the block, and the "even-odd" days (if there was gas at all)...
