Professor who attended Holocaust conference blasts critics as Islamophobes
Globe and Mail ^ | May 28, 2007 | Michael Valpy

A Canadian political scientist excoriated for attending what was widely labelled a Holocaust-denial conference in Tehran has retaliated with a blistering published attack on his university president and his colleagues for being illiterate Islamophobes.

Writing in the influential Literary Review of Canada, Shiraz Dossa, a tenured professor at Nova Scotia's St. Francis Xavier University, said that his academic integrity and academic freedom were grossly impugned by the university administration, an assault on his reputation that he said has yet to be remedied.

He accused the president and chancellor of authorizing a "small Spanish Inquisition" to denounce him - a campaign he said was initiated by two Jewish professors and the Christian chair of the political science department.

Prof. Dossa also wrote that the attack on his reputation was launched by The Globe and Mail's editorial board and by columnists John Ibbitson and Rex Murphy, whom he described as being "intellectually just a cut above the Trailer Park Boys" and ignorant of the Middle East.

I am Catholic and I find it utterly disgraceful that this IslamoNazi agent is tenured at a Catholic University. I strongly suspect that he got tenured after a long period of PC guilt manipulation by Mr. Dossa, and Dossa kept his racist delusions under wraps until AFTER tenure.

Dossa is the dude in the beret. The beret incidentally is not photoshopped.

Reporters need to learn verbs other than “blast” and “slam.”

That stopped being clever 20 years ago, guys. :P

Being tenured means never having to say you're sorry...
or wrong, or confused, or a criminal...

Just ask Professor Angela Davis, Professor Bernadine Dohrn, etc..........

Talk about some jerk from St.FX hanging around with a bunch of moslems, probably agreeing with with wholeheartedly, adn then citing the Trailer Park Boys in order to trash his detractors!! THere are some things that if you do them you are going to take some flak. This boy should either toe the line or get used to the flak and shut up.

Right on - and I do not notice anywhere here that he is referred to as Dr. Dossa, either - so tenure?

(The Canadian Association of Academics With Out Sense Enough to Pour Piss Out of a Boot) Dossa has clearly stated that his difficulties is the fault of the JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSS!! Both alive and dead. Everywhere.

I like your CV for him better than his. It seems there are always goats or sheep being abused when these guys are around.

IMHO, 'tenure' = institutionalized non-accountability.

Also see:
Political scientist responds to school’s stance on his attendance at Holocaust conference

(geographically closest major newspaper to St. FX)

However, it is gratifying to see an at least nominally Catholic University taking a somewhat principled stand with respect to this Islamofascist skunk.

He accused the president and chancellor of authorizing a "small Spanish Inquisition" to denounce him

(1) He attends a Holocaust denial conference.

(2) He insults the Catholic university that was stupid enough to tenure him by making a preposterous reference to the Spanish Inqusition.

(3) He insults his Jewish colleagues by comparing them to the very same Inquisition that made unconverted Jews second-class citizens.

This guy needs some comeuppance.

Unfortunately, in this computer age....these wackos get more of a forum than they deserve.

Modern Education has become a refuge for leftists, communists, Islamofacists....all employing the Marxist Tool called Political Correctness.

Most don’t know that the Islamic Brotherhood was founded by the Communists after WW1....now extend that knowledge down through the years.

Our kids are being slowly poisoned by the very institutions that were originally meant to enlighten and prepare.

A Canadian political scientist excoriated for attending what was widely labelled a Holocaust-denial conference in Tehran has retaliated with a blistering published attack on his university president and his colleagues for being illiterate Islamophobes.

Since a phobia is an unreasoned or paranoic fear of that which would normally elicit such a response, surely it can't be a case of islum-o-phobia that might be described here. After all, the effects of Sudden Jihadi Syndrome are well-known, in the US and elsewhere, so any well-travelled or well-read person should be expected to be aware of such life-threatening occurrances. Indeed, the islumic book of philosophic and direction and history itself warns those who do not accept and submit to the islumic faith that they face death.

Accordingly, that Canadian clearly used the wrong term; a problem not unknown with those who suffer under the Francophone polyglot of Canada. He ment islumomisophia, a disdain for or hatred of things islumic, as, for instance, the reaction of those who've had a family member killed by islumic murderers.

If we could only get those darned Canadians to properly use the English language, even those parts of it with Greek-derived suffixes, we might have more understanding in the world. Then we could wipe out the pestilence of those who practice the islumic religon as practiced by moohamud....
