Just posted this because of the perp's name. Failed jihadi attack on NYC tour bus or petty dispute between tour bus employees? If you throw an Elton John CD at someone does that constitute pelting them with flaming material?

You never know. It could just be a run of the mill New York crazy person.

LOL I suspect you would have to actually throw Elton John to constitute flaming material and it would take a real man to do if from the looks of Elton these days.

Why is Amhed Said in my country? And why is he here throwing flaming materials? And what will be done to remove him? I’m not holding my breath.

Ahmed Said, 42, attacked the 38-year-old man in front of the bus on West 42nd Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues at around 7:40 p.m. last Wednesday.
Gee, would this be another PEACEFUL MUSLIM?????????

Looks like he’s auditioning for the NYC car-burning brigade. Remember that the first episode of of cars being burned up in France didn’t start with 500 cars one fine night, the campaign would have started like this and caught on.

Were any FReepers involved in this considering it was Times Square, by the recruiting station?

If he caused five thousand dollars of damage to a bus, then this wasn’t “flaming material” (which sounds like a handful of burning paper) - more likely it’s something like “petrol”.

Ahmed Said... That name really does raise a red flag these days, doesn't it?

Read the whole article. I like the one where the school safety officer is arrested for an illegal weapon and threatening a family member with it.

I think the perp’s name ADDS data to this. Why discount it? The more we know about any given event, the more we know. Is it coincidental that he has a ME name? I don’t believe so. Is there more to find, given that data? Quite possibly.
Perhaps they will follow up with ‘he was mentally unstable.’ That will prove that he was an Islamic terrorist.

I’d be interested in knowing whether the victim was Jewish, and in particular if he was readily identifiable as such. If that’s the case, we have a probable hate crime. Oh, nevermind, Moslems are incapable of that...silly me.
