I sure hope this is the moment that the democrats have jumped the shark. I can’t take too much more of this.
Its good to see that the Democrat members of congress are more concerned with the rights of the terrorist than they are with the lives of the American people.
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?
Is this for citizens detained on these charges as well, or only foreign detainees?
The inmates are running the asylum these days.
Mighty impressive editing there, AHN!

The Dems are nuts. No wonder Queen Nancy looks like she got her plastic face caught in a buzz saw. When Pres. Bush vetos the “Terrorist Coddling Act”, he will certainly gain favorable support from all but the looniest Lefty.
I think Nancy PeeLousy should plan an overnighter for her Al-Quaida best buds!
See my tagline.
Wonder who’s gonna fight these idiot’s wars in the future? If we continue down this road, the military may disband itself, saying that until they bring back some sanity into the political leadership in this country they don’t need or deserve military forces of any kind.
Whose side are these idiots on anyway? I think people have just about had it with them! At least I sincerely hope so. I sure know I have!
Move them from Gitmo to the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port.
“Legislation aimed at extending legal protections to terror suspects cleared a Congressional panel this week with the backing of Democrats, who worry that detainees at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, may be denied due process..”
I want them to be denied due process.
The lunatics are running the asylum and the third party option appears increasingly more viable every day.
The Demcorats are traitors, Bush is a liar and supporter of illegal invaders and the Republican Party is so rent by dissention between the RINOs and crypto Rinos on the one hand, and the real Republicans on the other as to be totally ineffectual.
This seems to be a new way of fighting a war, one which the US military is not accustomed to.
Treating the enemy as if they are criminal suspects is a totally novel approach, I’ve never seen it in any of the war movies I’ve watched over the years.
Just doesn’t seem very smart, if the goal of the war is victory.
In our country we treat lawbreakers like citizens. In other countries, they treat lawbreakers like criminals. :D
They are already due process Military tribunals are due process, regardless of what the "we loathe the military" crowd might insinuate.
Certainly more than Pfc. Joseph Anzack Jr., found in the Euphrates river with gunshot wounds to the head and chest, and evidence of being whipped on his back. I guess they didn't have time to remove his head, probably because US and Iraqi forces were closing in, and they valued their own a$$es more than his head.
