A good point about those Venezuelans. The Venezuelans that would head to our borders aren’t the lower class, but rather, are the industrialists, the capitalists and investors.
They bring skilled labor to our economy, unlike the unskilled labor of the Mexican illegals.
Too late, In certain parts of South Florida, they are already here.
Once the rich and powerful all leave the country the poor will surely follow. Hugo will probably give them transportation to Mexico just to leave and not be a burden to his socialist paradise.
Not to worry. They’re all moving to Miami. Anyone with half a brain in Venezuela sold out and moved their assets to the U.S. All he’s going to have left is the poor, and a huge supply of oil.
Pretty soon the only way out of Venezuela will be via life raft. Chavez won’t allow more of a “brain drain” from Venezuela.
There’s certainly enough praise for his price controls and land confiscation.

I was a young adult when Carter was in office and this was really the first time I began to pay attention to politics and to realize that I was conservative. Carter surrounded himself with all these crooks he brought from Ga. with him. Many of them were caught with their hand in the cookie jar (major $ scandals that taxpayers picked up the tab to fix) and even though there was ONLY the MSM back then, I started to get suspicious about this smug, arrogant, pious, and oh, so religious guy that didn't seem to know anybody but thieves.
Exactly the same thing as when Clinton and the Arkansas Mafia arrived in D.C. The difference was the MSM had to contend with the Rush Limbaugh and the growth of a conservative media who exposed the truth about the Clintons as fast as the MSM tried to bury it.
The MSM is responsible for portraying Carter as an incompetent in order to keep the public from knowing what the crooked, anti-American, Commie was really up to.

The DUmmies are getting nervous apparently. I was over there for a look at how they are reacting to this story. I have noticed they are having a tougher and tougher time defending Chavez’s actions. In the latest thread regarding protests over the RCTV closure there were only 4 postings when I read it. The one that got me was the very first one, which read:
Checkstub “Why are they using wuss methods on the fascists? Tear gas, cool, but they should be cutting down the pro-fascist anti-Chavez putschists in a hail of lead.”
Funny how those methods are perfectly acceptable to them in this case. And yes, Islander7, they most certainly do want to shut down talk radio......in the same way if possible.

The Democrat party have been socialists/Communists since the 1930's when FDR's new deal which included social security, Medicare was made into law. Funny how many conservatives say that was the old good Democrat party then , the party of FDR. FDR was a just a socialist. Also look at how FDR let Communist Stalin take over eastern Europe after world war 2.Why would FDR not attack Stalin as well as Hitler? Because FDR loved Stalin just like Jimmah Carter now loves Castro and Chavez. The democrat party has always been the same. They are just a bunch of communists. And they have to be stopped if we want to be able to go to Walmart and Best Buy and have the great selection of food and products that we have now.

Quite frankly, I think you are giving the dude way too much credit. I think Jimmy got caught up in the "Hate Bush at any cost" crowd that is poisoning the modern political arena.
I have no idea what kind of deal Jimmy the Crook has with Hugo, Castro, all the other dictatorial, despotic, Marxists, etc. that he supports, but I would venture to say he probably has as much or more $ in numbered accounts than the Clintons have. After all, the Clintons only had left to sell what Jimmy hadn't already "given away."
Carter may be a member of the "Hate Bush" crowd, but he was a charter member of the "Hate America" crowd long before that.
