I'm avoiding the temptation to analyze the results, so as not to influence votres, but I will post the preliminaries. Based on the first post:

QUESTION ONE (No Fred or Newt) Hunter, 58% Romney, 23% Paul, 10% Tancredo, 4% Huckabee, 3% Tommy Thompson, 2%

QUESTION TWO (Everyone in): Fred Thompson, 49% Hunter, 35% Romney, 7% Paul, 6% Huckabee, 1% Gingrich, 1%

QUESTION THREE (Giuliani, McCain, Romney or Fred, only): Fred Thompson, 84% Romney, 16%

That's right; the closest McCain or Giuliani got to a single vote was one guy who answered "Fred (or McCain)." I scored that as a vote for Fred.

About scoring votes: I've tried to fit answers into the format I asked. For instance, if someone says "Johnson/Smith!", I presume his first choice is Johnson and his second choice is Smith. If he says "Johnson or Smith," I score it as 1/2 votes each for Johnson and Smith if they are both options in a given question, and as 1 vote for which ever candidate is an option, if only one is an option.

If someone writes, "Jones all the way!", I score it as a vote for Jones in any question that Jones is an option for. If someone writes, "Jones all the way (Harris is good, too!), I score it as a vote for Jones in any question that Jones is an option for, and for Harris if Jones is not an option, but Harris is.

I think we purged most of the Rudy supporters.

Oh, one last thing: I’ve used keywords to attract people to this post. I’ve used every reasonable keyword for each candidate that I’ve seen. Please feel free, however, to add in your own keywords, or complain if you feel the previous lack of a keyword has hurt the candidate you support. Naturally, the most discussed candidates get the most keywords, but, then again, the poll tends to drop down in the stack of articles for each keyword faster.

I did avoid using issue-related keywords, believing that may unevenly attract voters who are concerned about those issues.

I know some RudyBots may have gone underground, but Did we zot people merely for being pro-Rudy? (Not counting people who relentlessly post pro-Rudy articles)

Certainly, there is no-one pro-Rudy here, but I thought it was mostly a reflection of his fumbling on issues. His national polls are way down, and we FReepers are waaaaay ahead of such curves, because we are so politically in-tuned. (You’ll notice that McCain also has no votes, while Hunter is very strong.)

DED, but I would love to see Duncan and Fred as running mates just so I could use the tagline “Hunter/Thompson, Fear And Loathing On The Campaign Trail ‘08”

What happened to Brownback? I’m not a fan, but I noticed he’s missing.

I don't mean to shout at you, but I should clarify:

Please don't vote again if you already voted to the first post!

If you have voted twice, please be honest and help me clean up double votes. (I'll do my best on my own.)

Ouch! That’s one (very serious) mistake that’ll have to be included in my final post, even though you’re the first person to mention it (and I take it you aren’t meaning to vote for him.)
