I’m pretty excited about him jumping in. He’s got my vote if he makes it official. Otherwise, it’s Rudy for me.

I’ll vote for Duncan or Fred (if he runs),because either one sounds better for America than all the rest.
I don’t think Duncan or Fred will stop the rot,but I’ll vote.
I do think when it starts to look like either one will win he had better have GOOD security.
If a small town sheriff will murder his rival, what would a
rich, powerful, elitist,(who belives he/she is the smartest person on the earth)presidential candidate/supporter do?
Just my humble opinion.

"We are now living in a nation that is beset by people who are suicidal maniacs," Mr. Thompson said....

But enough about the Democrats.

"We are now living in a nation that is beset by people who are suicidal maniacs,"..."We're sitting here now with essentially open borders."

Spoken like the next President and saviour of America.

Talking to a likely Thompson staffer ahead of the speech, I said I hoped he'd get in the race and shake things up. The staffer said, coyly, "I think you'll get your wish." I didn't push for a date and time. But this guy's ready to go for it.

Woo hoo!!!!!!

Thompson / Hunter [reality pick] or Bauer (Jack) / Bolton (John) [fantasy pick] in ‘08 -— they get it

"They don't get it that putting it on a piece of paper anymore, even passing it into law, does not convince the American people that they will do what they say they're going to do," Mr. Thompson thundered.

That certainly sounds like Fred gets it. I'm starting to like this guy.

Our worthless legislators need to understand that we just don't believe them anymore. The only thing that will satisfy me (and I think most conservatives) is small steps that can be easily verified before taking the next step. Comprehensive is a code word for a bureaucratic nightmare with no accountability and no verifiable results.

It's the last paragraph or sentence in the piece that has the gnutty gnats in a tizzy, stamping their tiny feet with feigned impatience and imitating lamestream media tactics by purposefully misquoting, usurping context of Fred comments.

IOW, they're scared outta their ever-livin' minds, LOL!
