Just goes to show - “never judge a book by it’s cover”.

This man is one shrewd businessman.

One solid American.

One solid family man.

One solid American.

I like him - and his show.

Simmons isn’t going to kiss anyones backsides. He’s made enough money he doesn’t need any more and he is smart enough to follow his own mind (which he does have one) unlike so very many celebs nowadays.

i knew i loved gene for a reason...ive watched his show and although his living arrangement with shannon is a bit unconventional...they really are a very conventional family. his kids are great...hes really devoted to his family and probably spends more time with his kids than a great percentage of dads ...kudos to gene for speaking out.

One nit to pick.

He visited Marines at Camp Pendleton, not soldiers.

By the way, it's a volunteer army, all volunteer. The fact that anybody would have a ******* thing to say about that is astonishing.

I always find it amazing that the moonbats can't figure this out for themselves.

I can respect someone who is of the opinion the Iraq war was a mistake and we need to get out now or someone who is a pacifist (They are wrong, but everybody is entitled to their wrong opinion)

What I can't stand for the life of me is these ignorant freaking brain dead moonbats who think young American men and women are somehow being manipulated to join the military. They disrespect the fact they have made a decision to join the finest military in the world

Gene Simmons gets it, and it’s admirable that he’s taking the time to embrace our men and women in uniform. He is a true patriot. Politically, if I had to guess, I would say he’s a libertarian(little L), which is pretty much where I am. I’m a bit more ‘conservative’ though regarding matters of unborn life when it comes to abortion (especially after the first weeks), and marriage.

I think (Sean Penn) is the enemy of Western civilization. I think he's a terrific actor, but a political knucklehead.

I'm an earthling more than that. I'm completely in favor of a Palestinian state, and I'm completely against any other country in the Middle East having nuclear weapons. I believe that, if allowed, it would be the beginning of the end. Because once a graduate of any madrassa in the Middle East straps on bombs that can take out cities, you're done... And by the way, I voted for Bill Clinton. But I also voted for George Bush.
Another entertainment industry whack-job, but at least he's actually entertaining. :')

The 2nd Page was pretty good too.

“And I wish I had a bat for every one of those guys who jumps up and down behind a newscaster on the street doing a story about a fire. There’s some moron jumping up and down. There should be asshole police with bats. As soon as you start misbehaving, you should get the shit beaten out of you. Put me in charge. I’m telling you, I’d fix all that”

But they won't get into a car where there's no media and just go and shake the hand of a vet.

That'd make more sense if he hadn't taken TV cameras along for his visit.

I guess my son was a closet conservative at 15 when he worshiped the man.

How could I guess the reason for the black and white face paint?
