Sweden's economy will continue to grow at a healthy pace, according to a new prognosis from the OECD, but inflation poses a threat.

Why would inflation pose a threat? I wonder if these geniuses predicted the inflation in Zimbabwe.

The employment level will increase by 2 percent this year and 1 percent next year. The reports authors pointed to signs that difficulties recruiting workers are starting to spread from heavy industry to other sectors. This will increase inflation, according to the report.

The Philip's Curve is discredited everywhere except in bureaucratic institutions like central banks and the OECD.

Marginal tax rates in Sweden have dropped from 87% in 1979 to 57% in 2006. Imagine how the Swedish economy would take off if the marginal rate was dropped to 33% as it is in the US.
