WASHINGTON A powerful think tank chaired by former Sen. Sam Nunn and guided by trustees including Richard Armitage, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Harold Brown, William Cohen and Henry Kissinger, is in the final stages of preparing a report to the White House and U.S. Congress on the benefits of integrating the U.S., Mexico and Canada into one political, economic and security bloc.

I generally don’t buy into conspiracy theories. A conspiracy takes smarter people than the ones usually accused of doing the conspiring.
Follow the money.
There’s nothing irrational going on. The Republicans want the cheap workforce, and hope they will get “conservatives” Catholics. The Democrats want the votes. What’s irrational about that?
Our leaders are rationally, and with much forethought screwing us.
I agree, it would take a total conspiracy nut to think that a bunch of national leaders would push through some hair-brained scheme to combine their countries, probably convert to a single currency then come up with a bunch of unpopular laws that would be enforced on each country regardless of that country’s existing constitution.
In fact they may even try something so outrageous as trying to get all of the countries together and decide on a single constitution. I’ll bet you dollars to euros that it just couldn’t happen.
World Nut Daily.
Why else would the majority of the bougeocracy be slavering at the mouth to push this OBVIOUSLY unpopular law upon us?
“In fact they may even try something so outrageous as trying to get all of the countries together and decide on a single constitution. Ill bet you dollars to euros that it just couldnt happen.”
Cute.
If you could pull off your tin foil hat for a second, I’ll try to make a couple of points.
First, our leaders are in the here and now. The North American Union would not yeild direct benefits to anyone in the very near term. It’s all about the near term. What’s in it for me, now.
Second, it takes very bright, very dedicated people to pull off a conspiracy of this magnitude. Do you honestly believe we’re being governed by bright and dedicated people?
Finally, the Eupropean Union came about as an attempt to compete with the US. Currently, the US doesn’t need bolstering by Mexico or Canada to compete.
I will acknowledge that as we push America further and further down the road to 3rd world status, (more illegals, more offshoring of jobs, lower overall standard of living), that the North American Union will eventually become attractive, if not necessary.
Ok, quick, put the hat back on before the bad people influence your brain.
"Though no one wants to reward illegal behavior, we must find a way for these workers to come forward, make good on the past and participate in a program that leads to permanent residency and eventual citizenship."

How Government Insiders Over Threw The United States Without Using Bullets
Subtitled: Elite Treason Is Without Consequence
The Democrats want the vote, and they have plans to EXPAND THE WELFARE STATE in this country to include all of Mexico and Latin America.
I agree the Dems want the votes and Republicans want the cheap workforce — and our leaders are about screwing us. But I believe there’s more to it. Perhaps for some elites there’s much additional wealth and power to be gained by uniting the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Weakening the U.S. via a flood of illegals (a small percentage of whom are sure to be terrorists) may result in the level of chaos and demoralization of our citizenry needed to sell the unification of the three countries.
The US is guilty of eradicating poverty so well, our politicians have taken to importing it. Job security you know.
The elites believe easy immigration keeps the cost of living low, and they consider the low COL a greater benefit than the harm of unbridled and unassimillated immigration.
Reasonable can obviously differ on the cost/benefit without need for conspiracy theories.
The sinister plan to is to expand the power of FedGov. The Civil War decided the issue; we are in the implementation phase.

The mostly likely fundamental nature of BIG, is a bankrupt USA which is being told what it should->must do in order to not be declared insolvent by it's monetary masters. A country which needs to constantly borrow large amounts of money does not control it's own destiny at some point. That (melting?) point has obviously been achieved. And may I add duh. Perhaps I could even get a duh in for all those free trade and the deficit doesn't matter highly educated types. You know, the ones who are bringing this anti-USA future upon us, in spite of our best efforts to protect ourselves and hold the USA to the government format which our founders and fore-fathers fought, lost and died for.
