For those of you having difficulty getting thru to your senator, here is the 800 # paid for by the Mexican Amnesty Activists:
800-882-2005
This will get you directly to your senator unlike the #'s available to the US Citizen.
Press 1 when you hear a Spanish message, then Press 1 again to be transferred to your senior senator's office
OR
Press 2 when you hear a Spanish message, and you'll be transferred to your junior senator's office.
You get through immediately and the call is paid for by the enemy!
If Isakson’s office joined FR, they’d get zotted IMMEDIATELY imo, that is. There are no reasonable explanations for giving our country away.
That they are calling you is unusual. Maybe they are trying to intimidate you? I realize that won’t happen.
Do you think Joe Farah at World Net Daily would be interested in this thread? I don’t know him. If any freepers have contacts w/WND, this should be on WND too.
I think a lot of the thread’s visibility came when it was in Breaking News. I would never have seen it, had it started out in Chat. I wonder how many new hits it’s getting, since it was moved?
I think the guy wanted to put somebody—an intern, maybe—onto the thread as an opperative to spread propaganda. I doubt we need that kind of annoyance, and anyway, as one poster said, let them get out there on the Net and do some legwork of their own. I bet they’d be surprised, to find out how outraged we truly are.
Because there isn’t a news article, it was moved. It it activism though. Maybe if someone put Michelle Malkin’s article under breaking news and then right under that, the link to this thread with “USE MEXICAN HOTLINE TO CALL CONGRESS GO HERE” and http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/post?id=1839080%2C1.
They can find us themselves and I say, let them lurk all they want. Not too bright of an intern since everyone knows about DU and FR. Must be a nepotism intern.
So this is how “citizen activism” liberal socialists get their job done, eh? Automated calling centers and spanish-language prompted phone call trees?
Who is paying for these phone networks? How long have they been using these types of pressure?
I saw the post yesterday and used the line. It works very well. Thanks for the ping.
Under normal circumstances, wouldn’ something like a direct phone line for foreigners to call our congress (non-constituents) be SUBJECT TO FCC scrutiny? Why not an investigation? This is a conspiracy to defraud American citizens via a toll free company to OUR congress.
FCC investigation material?
bttt
That’s what irritates: (1) the blatant (willful ?) ignorance of this BY the Senate staffs of the Mexicans directly calling in on toll-free lines ahead of US citizens, or of the ABILITY of a single activist group to get “inside” help getting through.
How many other times has this happened? How do we prevent it?
Good point.
I called the toll free number and reached Senator Bill Nelson(D)'s office. They took the # to look into. They didn't ask me for MY ZIP CODE.
Next, I called my congressman for an alert should the Senate try to use these calls to prove overwhelming support for the bill when the callers are foreigners, not constituents. They took the #.
Last, I called Mel Martinez' DC 202 number. They knew the most about the "hotline". 1. By law, said cannot forbid the calls. 2. said didn't know the group (so it is a group). 3. MM's office does not count calls without a ZIP CODE (but that can be faked).
Do your Senators ask for your zip code? Anyway, I asked my house member for investigation. For all we know, the foreigners have zip code directories to fool the Senate. If they do, an FCC investigation is in order. The calls are then fraudulent.
If your Senators do not ask for YOUR ZIP CODE, the big press conference they will do after Memorial Day will be foreign calls and American calls. They have no way to tell where the foreign calls are coming from. Foreigners are NOT AMERICANS. They are not constituents and that is the bottom line. Please pass this along.
Who has oversight on telecommunications but I get your point re: FEC.
Mel Martinez’s office stated that they “had no way” to tell where the toll calls were coming from and MM is one of the drafters of this bad bill.
So, if the area codes are rigged into the toll free calls, the Senators may believe the callers are constituents. How is it people are also calling from Canada and Mexico?
When I called Webb and Warner (of Virginia) and RNC, they did not ask for my zip code.
Remember Tallahassee used this excuse for bumping Terri off - that non-Floridians were flooding the phone lines so she had to be killed because Floridians could not get through?
