He is an adorable little boy! I feel sorry that he will not get the benefit of a mother and father, but at least he has a great role model in his grandfather. I’m sure she was exposed to religion and knows her relationship goes against the Bible, but she chose otherwise. Ultimately, the Lord will judge her.

I agree. My straight self and my straight wife struggled to have children for several years. We prayed that if we ever had a son we would name him Samuel, or if a daughter, we’d name her Hannah, after the biblical story in 1 Samuel. Through the miracle of modern science we had boy/girl twins, Samuel Alexander and Hannah Elizabeth, 15 years ago. In keeping with the tenor of the news story, both of my children, like their parents, happen to be heterosexual (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
Many people (not all) are ONLY being nice on this thread because it is the Vice President's grandson. I doubt the comments would be as mild if this were Chelsea Clinton's son conceived in the same manner.
