With news accounts that Pelosi & Reid are retreating in their withdraw-retreat Iraq push - at least for the moment - the pro-troop group, Move America Forward, is stepping up the pressure. Move America Forward has officially released their latest ad which takes on Reid & Pelosi for their shameful behavior in recent weeks.

Move America Forward has just launched a fundraising drive to pay for the airtime for this ad to be seen on national TV networks and on local network affiliates in Nevada and also in San Francisco (where Reid and Pelosi are from).

This is the perfect time to attack Reid and Pelosi, while they are on the defensive.
We have to turn the tide of public opinion on the war on terrorism and this a great place to start.

Especially since when we don’t all that happens is that you have Bush and Co. on the retreat and instead of waging a war effort, they are fighting off the vultures (some in their own party).

I think this would be very effective on a large scale. Run political ads now defining the debate. We need to hit them with ads showing their attacks on republican corruption - then going into all of their already exposed corruption.
Their backtracking on rules. Their efforts to pass immigration amnesty.
The public’s impression is formed now . . . not in the 2 months prior to an election. This is how the public perception of Iraq got to where it is. A drumbeat - which went unanswered for months. When it was answered, it was too late.
It makes you wonder why the Bush Administration is so quiet — other than release the intel report. I guess they want to get their budget victory down first, but their track record on communicating about the war on terror has been poor.
We need a congress & President who will do the job our congress & President will not do!

Send this message to all in power in USA. We have been told enough illegals are doing jobs we will not do, it time we tell our leader city, state and federal the truth about what they doing to USA by doing what they took oath to do.
They are having to eat crow this week on the war issue, but I think that this will motivate them to redouble their efforts, so we need to do our jobs to redouble ours!

Good that they’re doing this, but an ad in the Bay Area is a waste of money. Better to run the ad in Ohio or Florida, or anyplace that’s either a presidential swing state or that may have multiple competitive House races, or a competitive Senate race. Tweaking Pelosi in her backyard is great, but not if you blow scarce money to do it.
