Good that they’re doing this, but an ad in the Bay Area is a waste of money. Better to run the ad in Ohio or Florida, or anyplace that’s either a presidential swing state or that may have multiple competitive House races, or a competitive Senate race. Tweaking Pelosi in her backyard is great, but not if you blow scarce money to do it.

If you are a 501c3 non-profit it wouldn’t be appropriate to run ads for the purposes of electing or defeating a candidate :)

Your point is well taken, but the ad will not be effective anywhere until Reid and Pelosi are lumped with other Democrats.

Not 2% of the population knows who Reid or Pelosi are, let alone their political affiliation.
