Paul Campaign Unstoppable on Web, Invisible in Real World
Little Green Footballs ^ | Tuesday, May 22 2007 | Charles Johnson

According to the latest Gallup poll, Ron Paul is the first choice of exactly zero percent of likely GOP voters: New Yorkers Continue to Lead 2008 Nomination Contests.

I’m just sayin’.

Charles has been getting spammed heavily by the Cult of Paul. He's been mocking them of late by adding a "Ron Paul" option to all of his polls, as they told him that Paul was the only man that could "save this cesspool" of a country.

See what happens when reality sets in, people?

I’m dealing with the Paulites on another board. Small, yet vocal. However, it’s interesting to see that when push comes to shove, they can’t even use a crowbar to break open their wallets.

Maybe they realize the truth but don’t want to admit it?

Paul's objective isn't to win the Presidency.

It's to force the other Republicans to discuss the real issues facing America and to acknowledge the limitations of government as outlined in the Constitution.

When you bash Paul, you're bashing the Constitution.

How's that brainwashing working out for you?

What's next for you? Selling posies and Paul tracts in the airport parking lot?

Nuh-uh. That dog won’t hunt. I’ll venture to guess that the Founding Fathers didn’t envision Islamists with nuclear weapons, slamming aircraft into buildings full of people, spreading bioweapons, etc.

In fact, wasn’t it Jefferson who made it a point of kicking some Barbary Pirate butt back around 1805 or so? Did the Constitution “explicity allow” that as well?

Paul is about 1/2 a step away from declaring Afghanistan a failure, identifies with the “truthers”, and is generally as resonant as fingernails on a chalkboard. The last debate where Rudy pimp-slapped him pretty much showed that.

I’m no Rudybot, but when he shows you up, there’s something wrong with your message.

Paul wants to withdraw to inside our borders and hope those big bad terrorists won’t pick on us anymore. Too bad that if we did that it would just embolden them and create more bloodshed on our shores. What would he do then?

I’d call him a Chamberlain, but at least Neville gets some credit because he didn’t have his own missteps as a guide. Paul is an 18th Century guy who needs to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st.

Same as it was for Howard Dean. Wonder how many on the Left are carrying the water for Ron Paul this time around.

Howard Dean was considered “the frontrunner” in 2004 because his supporters DUped the public in online poll results.

How does one go from Camp Rudy to Jihad Ron’s Mujahadeen in just a few short months?

No, the Islamists were just hijacking ships back then. And, according to the Gospel According to Paul (R-Texas), they were doing because of our support for Israel.

Glen Beck metioned on his (excellent) CNN show last night that he also was getting spammed, and his online polls completely ruined by the Paulites.

Just like the Libertarians.

No coincidence.

I have't forgotten that Paul was once in fact a card-carrying Libertarian, ran for office in Texas as a Libertarian, and was a darling of the Libertarian Party during my brief association with them.

Anyone know his stand on legalized heroin?

‘I’d call him a Chamberlain, but at least Neville gets some credit because he didn’t have his own missteps as a guide’

In the end, Chamberlain admitted he was totally wrong.

Ron Paul will never do that, he’ll just switch his affiliation the the Libertarian Party officially, rather than playing footsie under the table with em.

Yep.

Libertarians are to politics what Scientology is to established religion.

‘Anyone know his stand on legalized heroin?’

Based on his claim the Islamofacists keep killing us because of our ‘policies’ I’d say he’s not only in favor, he’s a habitual user.

Beck’s show is better than anything on FNC, with the exception of Brit Hume.

What a childish reply. Just keep electing more Republicans of Bush's ilk and calling yourselves conservatives. If the Democrats had half a brain they'd get business and tax cut friendly. The Republicans would be lucky to get 20% of the popular vote. Hell, the Republican Party doesn't even stand tough on abortion anymore, much less cutting spending and federal entitlements. How's that working out for you?

I wasn't kidding. It's a core test of Libertarian principles.

True believer Libertarians will say "Yes, indeedy!" to legalized heroin without a moment's hesitation. It's their true litmus test.

Without hyperbole, Beck has probably the best talking head show on all of television, period.

The guy is a natural. Honest, engaging, daring, bold, and still quite humble (in the positive sense).

Last night he was talking with Michael Medved about how he (Beck) was just plain lucky to be on radio and TV. "There are so many good people out there, and I had a few lucky breaks." (paraphrased) The night before he mentioned that his daughter had very recently told him "You are my hero" and he was stunned and speechless, because his was just doing his daily thing, nothing special. He was visibly moved.

Beck is really quite unique. I hope he stays around for a while.
