Don’t forget your PICKS!!!
I’m going with ALL FAVORITES!!
In my best FReep voice...Pictures please...
I’ve got Dish Network, and didn’t have an interruption.
Mark Martin has always been my favorite. Although I was disheartened when he left Roush and went to Ginn. But since Mark is in the ARMY CAR 01, I still continue to pull for him. It means a lot to the troops because they always want to know how the Army Car finished.
With a son in Iraq, who could go wrong in picking Mark Martin to win? And the US Army is a winner as well!
2nd choice Carl Edwards. Takin Care of Business!
Charlotte is my favorite track. We go to the fall race every year.
ON IMPORTANCE OF THIS PROMOTION TO HIM: “Budweiser is very adamant and very serious about their relationship with the military and so am I. Very proud of it. I think that with the country at war and everything going on right now, we have to try to show not only that we are patriotic, but also show our support for the troops. The biggest thing right now, is trying help those guys’ morale any time we can. To have been in that situation for so many years and now cycling back through, every little bit of show of support helps those guys and makes them feel better. I am sure it isn’t an easy road over there like I said, to be over there and cycling back there. They have all been there longer that I think they anticipated. Any kind of show of support that we can give them from over here will hopefully make a little bit of difference.”
Just in case I forget to send over my caution pool pick (again) before I head out of here, I’ll take 18 cautions Sunday.

BIG QUESTION - Does Mikey QUALIFY this week???
No reds, and JJ heads a 1-2-3 Hendrick finish.
I’ll be out of the country on the Great Walleye Hunt starting Saturday afternoon. While the lodge has satellite TV, I’ll be on the water for the entire race, and well out of range of any station that might be covering the race.
Is anyone sticking around for qualifying?
No, sorry. Since I won’t be around Sunday, I’m headed to church very shortly.
Maybe...what’s for dessert? Ice Cream? Sherbet?
Martin, Flash up top so far...
Since it's only me the kid and his new girlfriend this week end, I am going to do it easy this time.
Two large racks of Lloyd's BBQ Baby Back Ribs cut into double ribs.
Add 1 cup sweet Mogan David red wine into crok pot.

Of course, Jimmy Deans pre made mashed potatoes (they are great).
Fresh asparagus from the farm next to me. and
