Six-year terms have put them out of touch with Americans; you figure it out!

We just need to replace them more often.

Fox News panel on Hume's show responded to the extreme anger of viewers over their shameless zamnesty shilling yesterday.

Fred Barnes was on the hot seat. Yesterday, he actually referred to how "we" would pass this amnesty bill and that anyone opposed to it was some kind of bigot. They danced around it today, denying it. But that's exactly what he was saying.

FNC, even Hume's show, is becoming useless. Leftwing mayors and zamnesties do not a conservative network make. It's not even "Fair And Balanced".

The House was supposed to be the antidote against a priviliged ruling class in the senate.

Problem is, now we have two privileged ruling classes, at either end of the capitol.

MONEY is the only word you need to understand. Congress will ALWAYS follow the MONEY.

Excellent argument for term limits....in both the Senate and the House...all the BS, rhetoric, and spin to the contrary, notwithstanding. Unfortunately, it will never happen peacefully. Too bad...we lose.

CALL! CALL! CALL! CALL! AND KEEP CALLING TILL THE LINES FRY!

WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!

Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them.

STOP AMNESTY NOW!! WE CAN DO IT!!

The best way to stop Shamnesty

I've been leaning on this horn for years--a lot of the muddle-headedness on illegal immigration comes from a patronizing "noblesse oblige" from our elites.

The elite rich are different from you and me. They don't make their own beds. They don't wipe the noses (or other body parts) of their kids. They don't cook for their families (remember how Bar Bush used to boast that she never cooked?) and certainly don't mow their own lawns.

There's a reason why Bush speaks better Spanish than English. His NANNY taught him.

And they can't imagine life ever being different--but they do feel a little guilty about paying Manuela nickles and dimes to scrub their toilets. So, how do they stop feeling guilty?

Well, they decide to hand over American sovereignty to their servants!

That way, they feel noble and charitable. That's why they're always calling us bigots--because they just feel so warm and runny about their slaves. We ought to be kind and gracious to THEIR slaves, too, and stop griping that we have to pay for their social services. Shades of Scarlett O'Hara!!

They get to be noblessed, while we get to be obliged.

Amendment XVII (the Seventeenth Amendment) of the United States Constitution

....was passed by the Senate on June 12, 1911 and by the House on May 13, 1912. It was ratified on April 8, 1913 and was first put into effect for the election of 1914. It amends Article 1 Section 3 of the Constitution to provide for the direct election of Senators by the people of a state rather than their election or appointment by a state legislature, thus effectively eliminating state representation in Congress. It was passed and ratified during the Progressive Era.

Tell ya what boys..get the state legislatures to work on repealing this sucker ....and put the Senate back under the thumb of the state legislature....those boys in DC WILL perk up their ears..in the right direction.

What a bunch of garbage, excuses, they need excuses? How about, they are pompus, arrogant elitists who think they are far more intelligent than you and I could ever imagine to be and “we know whats good for you” mentality. Try working for a living and you’ll see how smart we really are. We may be presumed to be dumb because we’re to busy busting our humps to pay for all your stupid programs for the do-nothings that vote to keep you in office. Don’t under estimate us, eventually we will show our teeth!

Patriots....Pray tell.....how could anyone support chicken ranchers, motel owners, turkey pluckers, under the table contractors and attorney slime who want American tax payers to pay for illegal alien health care, college educations, their legal bills etc.

Put them out of business...Hunt them down with impunity. Turn them into the IRS, State Labor Law Agencies.... make every Patriot a whistle blower....

Remember it is us against them. They are out to ruin our culture and make us pay for it before we are put into poverty too. They are slave masters making slaves out of immigrants and we get to pay the welfare bill...

How could anyone in power sell us down the river like this...disgusting.

With today’s technology there really isn’t any reason for congressmen to go to Washington very often, other than to collect their bribes, but I’m sure the lobbyists would be willing to travel.

US senators out of touch with the public?

How about US senators don't care about the public.

That's the bottom line.
